A faithful continuation of Food Expansion, bringing its expanded food system to modern Minecraft while preserving the original recipes, progression, and Vanilla-inspired design. Now available for NeoForge, with additional versions and loaders planned.

Food & Recipes

Food Expansion adds a wide variety of new foods, including Bacon, Crispy Bacon, Fried Egg, Bacon and Egg, Cactus Fruit, Green Jelly, Chocolate Bar, Compressed Flesh, Cooked Mushroom, Carrot Pie, Carrot Soup, Spider Eye Stew, Nether Wart Stew, Blaze Cream Soup, Melon Salad, Roasted Seeds, Lollipop, Forbidden Fruit, Starving Fruit, and Beetroot Noodles.

Foods retain their original purposes and mechanics, including special effects, cooking upgrades, and unique uses.

Dough is also included as a non-edible crafting ingredient that allows Bread to be crafted more efficiently.

Mob Drops

Additional food sources can be obtained from several mobs:

• Horse Meat — Raw / Cooked
• Squid — Raw / Cooked
• Bat Wing — Raw / Cooked
• Wolf Meat — Raw / Cooked
• Ocelot Meat — Raw / Cooked
• Parrot Meat — Raw / Cooked
• Llama Meat — Raw / Cooked
• Polar Bear Meat — Raw / Cooked

Some raw meats have negative effects, while cooking them provides a safer and more useful food source.
