WELCOME TO THE FOLKCRAFT MOD
This mod introduces many structures, items, and mobs related to the ancient past and the mythical creatures of many different cultures like ancient Greece, China, and the Medieval times.
While staying mostly true to the style of Minecraft, these mobs are may be stronger than even the wither. And a batch of bosses and semi-bosses.
1: The Kappa
The Kappa are small, baboon like creatures who dwell by rivers.
While peaceful at first, don't test your luck because with almost double the health of the player and the tight knit bond of the group will kill even the most armored player.
When Dead, they might just drop an strengthening item, at the cost of a disgusting taste.
2: Mummy
Inhabiting the sandy desert, they command a horde of husks, and each mob they sense hit the ground, another rotten husk arises. Slay them to obtain a great fortune of gold.
3: Sea Goat
An underwater goat, a rare sight. Obtain some horns, and be able to swim forever.
4: Centaur
The torso of a player, the body of a horse, and the temper of a ravager.
They live in small tribes and will not hesitate to trample any threat like cavarly.
5: Gargoyle
While statues at day, they will hunt down treasure seekers at night. Made of pure stone, they fly around with the power of mere determination.
1 - Semi Boss: Namazu
The giant underground catfish of the sea, stuck in a stone prison. Eternally causing earthquakes from below.
Obtain a knockback resistant helmet upon death.
6: Minotaur
Guardian of gold, diamonds and emeralds. Get past the brute to get it.
7: The Lindworm
A giant forest dwelling serpent, not poisonous, but tanky.
A rather strong mob, defeat will grant the green blood of the snake.
8: The Erymanthian Boar
A simple task, don't go near this giant, dumb, swine.
You aren't Heracles, you will be thrown across the savanna, with some broken bones included.
1 - Boss: The Yeti
The former king of the mountains, he defended them from any villager, pillager, illager, or wither that came across the snow of his home. Until he was slain and left as a spirit.
The only way to summon this beast is to create a totem for the monarch.
2 - Boss: Aquloongh
A massive chinese dragon, slumbering by certain rivers of the overworld.
The Bringer of storms and wind, every player that has awakened him has been carved into the history books, as a single death of many.
2 - Semi Boss: Barong
Barong, The Spirit King. He lives in the tropical jungle, and covered in gold and jewels.
He summons the undead to help him defeat the forces of evil, including you.
3 - Boss: Set
The beholder of many names, Set has set his home deep in the underground caverns.
Calling thunder even from the depths of the deep.
9: Strix
Giant, bat-owl hybrids that feed on humanoid blood. Fierce fiends in the night.
10: Chimera
The Chimera are giant hybrid animals that live and destroy the jungles, savannas and plains of Minecraft.
The biggest threat to any player early game.
4 - Boss: Shizanh
An unique type of dragon, a Zilant. He has been slumbering for ages, waiting to awaken and consume everything around him while spitting massive clumps of toxin.
11: Camazotz
The harbringer of darkness, not exactly deadly directly, they will blind you and let the other monsters do the work.
12: The Phoenix
The giant bird of immortality and rebirth, while a guardian. It might burn down the world to ashes in the process of protecting you.
