Dash
Dash is a core movement ability that allows a short, rapid burst of speed in the current movement direction, both on the ground and in mid-air. It is primarily used to cross gaps, evade melee strikes and incoming projectiles, and to reposition during high-speed parkour. The dash has a very short cooldown, enabling consecutive use to maintain momentum, though careful timing and direction are still required when facing dense enemy fire. Certain upgrades can add damage to the dash or increase the number of air dashes.
Sensory Boost
Sensory Boost is a special ability that consumes Focus. When activated, time slows down dramatically—enemy bullets, lasers, and melee attacks crawl almost to a halt, while the user retains near-normal reaction speed for movement, turning, and attacking. A common tactic is to jump first and then trigger Sensory Boost, using the slow-motion window to execute precise aerial turns, additional dashes, flanking maneuvers, or weak-point strikes. Focus is primarily restored through kills, perfect dodges, and certain skills, making Sensory Boost essential for both advanced combat and difficult platforming sections.
When combined, Dash can be used to close distance or escape danger, then Sensory Boost can be activated instantly to deliver a lethal counterattack or perform an extreme jump within bullet time—creating a signature high-speed ninja combat rhythm.
Usage Instructions
By default bound to the Mouse4 button, and can be changed in the settings. While holding a movement direction key, press Mouse4 to instantly dash a short distance in the current movement direction; pressing it in mid-air also works for aerial repositioning. Dash consumes Focus. When Focus is sufficient, hold Mouse4 in mid-air to activate Sensory Boost, using slow motion to execute precise actions. Releasing Mouse4 or running out of Focus restores normal time flow.
[1.1.0] - 2026-09-04
Adjusted the dash behavior after Sensory Boost ends: it now dashes toward the mouse cursor direction.
[New] To accommodate multiplayer, the time-slow effect of Sensory Boost is now limited to a 64×64 block area centered on the player.
