Description
Flashback: Sable Tracking is a client-side cinematic camera tracking addon for Flashback and Create: Aeronautics (Minecraft 1.21.1)
While Flashback natively supports tracking player entities, physical contraptions from Create: Aeronautics (such as airships, airplanes, and other physical contraptions) exist as simulated SubLevel structures. Flashback Aero bridges this gap by introducing dedicated SubLevel Tracking Cameras, giving replay cinematographers full control when filming aerial battles, scenic flights, and complex machinery.
Features
Automatic SubLevel Detection:
Automatically scans and lists all active airships and contraptions in the current scene with their names and UUIDs.
Supports manual UUID entry for precise targeting.
3 Versatile Tracking Modes:
- Rigid (Ship Orientation): The camera is rigidly locked to the vessel's coordinate frame. It follows full 3D rotations in real time - climbing (pitch), turning (yaw), and banking into turns (roll) - just like a real chase plane or mounted action cam.
- Look At (Focus SubLevel): The camera maintains its relative offset while smoothly aiming directly at the airship's center of mass or a custom offset point.
- Position Only (World Horizon): Tracks the ship’s position in world space while keeping the horizon level and stable, avoiding disorienting rotations.
Full Customization:
Custom Position Offsets (X, Y, Z) to position the camera anywhere around or inside the cockpit.
Custom View Offsets to change the focal point on large builds.
Independent Yaw, Pitch, and Roll offset sliders.
Seamless keyframe interpolation across timeline playback.
Known issues:
Flashback does not work with ModernFix and Simple Voice Chat.
