WARNING: This is a Beta version of a large mod overhaul. Expect bugs and issues. Please report any bugs/issues/suggestions/etc to the issue tracker on github.
YOU MUST DELETE OLD CONFIG FILES!

It is also HIGHLY recommended you start a new save file, old worlds will not have fish properly, and old FMB items will be broken/missing.

If you decide to keep playing on an old world do NOT report issues to the github.

Fishing Made Better 2.0.0 Overhaul:
Essentially every part of the mod has been overhauled/changed/fixed/modified, I'll list as much as I remember but for the most part you'll need to play to see.

Modular Fishing Rods:
-Fishing Rods are now modular, with the ability to attach and detach multiple types of reels/bobbers/hooks.

-Fishing Rod textures and models are now also dynamic, changing based on attachments.

Minigame Overhaul:

-The fishing minigame has been overhauled, with different rod attachments now affecting the minigame

-The minigame now has location-based backgrounds (Biome, Dimension, Y Level, liquid)

-The minigame now works based on the rod's tension, which needs to be balanced over a fish target which moves based on the fish's stats.

Food:

-Fish slicing has been reworked and is now fully customizable in config.

-While custom slicing outputs can be selected, there is also default Raw Fish Slices that a fish can slice into.

-The amount of slices outputted can be based on the fish's weight, with a more balanced slicing function implemented to prevent ridiculous slicing outputs.

-Raw Fish Slices can now be properly cooked and eaten.

-Slicing can also be disabled on a per-fish basis (Ex. Jellyfish can't be sliced into food, just used for bait)

Scaling:

-Fish scaling has been reworked and is now fully customizable in config.

-Custom items can be set as a scaling output, as well as whether to scale by weight or not.

-Currently scaling is not required in order to slice and eat a fish, it is just for additional resources out of a fish, this may change/become a config option in the future.

-Scaling can be disabled on a per-fish basis (Ex. If there's no sensical item for a fish to output when scaled, disable scaling instead)

Tracking:

-Fish tracking has been overhauled, giving more accurate results on fish in your location.

-Tracking will let you know if there is fish in your area, but are not currently feeding (Ex. time of day, weather, light level, etc)

Bait Box:

-The bait box has been reworked and should now actually work properly, and not just void/dupe items. It will feed fish in the chunk it is in based on each fish's hunger speed.

Fish Populations:

-All of fishing has been overhauled.

-Fish can now populate properly based on biome tags instead of biome id, for better mod compatability, as well as dimensions.

-Fishing certain fish can now be restricted based on many factors, such as Y-Level (Ex. Cave Fish), max light-level, weather, reel length, liquid (Ex. Water fish vs Lava fish vs Void fish), etc.

Mod Compatability:
-JEI integration has been added for all custom recipes to display examples of the recipes.

-A full config for Aquaculture fish has been added and will be generated in the config folder if it is loaded alongside this mod.

-There are config options for overriding Aquaculture recipes and items in order to mesh better with this mod if Aquaculture is installed. (Recommended, enabled by default)

-There is a config option for enabling patch to fix a dupe glitch with Charm's salvage enchant (Disabled by default)

-A full config for AdvancedFishing is in progress but not a part of this version yet.

Forge Version:

-Updated to use Forge 2838 (Should now work on all Forge 1.12.2 versions)

New textures all done by Artsy

There's likely more changes that I'm forgetting, but this should cover most of them.

Remember, this is a beta version and there will likely be many changes overtime.
