First Aid — Enhanced

Injuries, wounds, physical effects, medical treatment, and helping your friends in Minecraft.

First Aid replaces the traditional health bar with individual health values for eight body parts: the head, torso, two arms, two legs, and two feet. Now, where you get hit matters just as much as how much damage you take.

This mod was not created entirely from scratch. Instead, it is a complete overhaul and enhancement based on the original source code of First Aid by Tobias Hotz.

What Does This Mod Add?

• Injuries: Burns, wounds, fractures of the arms, legs, and feet, as well as internal and external bleeding.
• Pain and adrenaline: Triggered by injuries, stressful situations, and various other conditions.
• Infections: Can develop when open wounds become contaminated or are left untreated.
• Concussions: Caused by severe impacts to the head, nearby Creeper or TNT explosions, or projectiles striking the head.
• Loss of consciousness: Can occur due to insufficient blood volume, severe exhaustion, physical strain during blood loss, and many other factors.
• Stamina system: Affects player movement and introduces shortness of breath, fatigue, drowsiness, and much more.
• Medical supplies: Bandages, plasters, tourniquets, splints, medical and surgical kits, painkillers, antibiotics, and blood replenishment bags.

Many features have intentionally been left out of this list — experience the mod for yourself! :D

A single brutal fight, or even a simple fall, can turn into a story of its own.

How Does It Work?

Press H to open the health menu. Select the injured body part and choose the appropriate treatment.

To help a friend, approach them and right-click while holding a medical item in your main hand or with an empty main hand.

The menu also includes an in-game guide explaining the mod's mechanics and available treatments.
