Fireproof Netherite

Why can netherite items survive in lava but you cant with the gear?

Any netherite item easily survives in lava or fire but when you out the armour on you have you still burn like usual so why not change that

 

thats why im made this mod to fix something that i think is stupid and dosent really make sense
