FireFly's Simple Tweaks

FireFly's Simple Tweaks is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that expands combat, enchanting, and mob progression without replacing the vanilla feel. It adds a large custom enchantment system built around elemental interactions, combat tweaks, scalable mob enhancement, and several client-side quality-of-life features.

Features

85+ Custom Enchantments

Discover and use more than 85 custom enchantments that go beyond vanilla gear progression. The enchantments are integrated into the mod's elemental system and are designed to create new build options for weapons, armor, and tools.

Elemental System and Reactions

The mod includes 8 elements and an elemental reaction system. Elements can interact with each other to produce additional combat effects, encouraging players to combine enchantments, gear, and playstyles instead of stacking a single stat.

Combat Tweaks

FireFly's Simple Tweaks adjusts several combat mechanics to make fights more readable and rewarding. These tweaks are designed to work alongside the custom enchantments and elemental reactions rather than replacing vanilla combat entirely.

Scalable Mob Enhancement

Mobs can gain levels, use enchanted gear, and deal or resist elemental damage. As players progress, mobs scale up to remain a threat, adding more long-term challenge to exploration and combat.

Client-Side Quality of Life

The mod includes client-side features such as damage indicators, an enchantment codex, and a configuration GUI. These features help players understand the mod's systems and tune the experience to their preferences.

Requirements

• Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1
• Fabric Loader 0.16 or newer
• Fabric API
• Fabric Language Kotlin

Installation

1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. Place Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin in your mods folder.
3. Place the FireFly's Simple Tweaks .jar file in your mods folder.
4. Launch the game with the Fabric profile.

For multiplayer, install the mod on both the server and the client. Some quality-of-life features are client-side, while gameplay systems such as enchantments, elements, and mob enhancement are designed to work in multiplayer as well.

Configuration

A configuration GUI is included so you can adjust the mod's features in-game. Additional config options may be available through the generated config files.

Compatibility

This build is for Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.1. It requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin. Other mod loaders and Minecraft versions are not supported by this build.
