Description
Fire Alarm Mod
Bring functional fire alarm systems into Minecraft.
Fire Alarm Mod adds detailed fire alarm control panels, notification appliances, pull stations, detectors, annunciators, emergency systems, power equipment, and more.
Instead of simply adding decorative fire alarm blocks, the mod focuses on creating functional systems. Devices work together through panels and groups, allowing you to build anything from a small alarm system to a large building-wide installation.
Fire Alarm Control Panels
Build and operate functional fire alarm systems using interactive control panels.
Panels can support features such as alarm conditions, trouble conditions, supervisory conditions, silence, reset, drill, acknowledge, device monitoring, group-based system control, power-related conditions, device-loss conditions, and system status indicators.
Some panels also feature detailed models with opening doors, internal components, indicator lights, and interactive controls.
Notification Appliances
The mod includes multiple fire alarm notification appliances inspired by real-world equipment.
Depending on the device, features can include multiple alarm sounds, different alarm behaviors, visual strobe effects, configurable flash patterns, panel-controlled operation, and detailed device models.
Pull Stations and Manual Devices
Activate fire alarm systems manually using several different pull stations and call points.
Different devices can include animated pull handles, reset functionality, mechanical activation sounds, key-operated controls, and other device-specific behavior.
Several devices are inspired by real-world fire alarm equipment.
Smoke and Heat Detection
Automatic initiating devices include smoke detectors, heat detectors, and other detection equipment.
Some detectors include configurable activation behavior, allowing environmental conditions to affect how and when a device activates.
System Groups
Panels and devices can be connected into groups, allowing multiple pieces of equipment to operate as one coordinated fire alarm system.
This makes it possible to build larger installations where panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances all function together instead of acting as unrelated blocks.
Trouble and Fault Conditions
Fire alarm systems are not always perfect, and the mod includes fault and trouble conditions to make systems more dynamic.
These can include AC power failure, missing or disconnected devices, battery-related conditions, general system trouble, and random faults.
Annunciators
Remote annunciators can be used to monitor and control supported fire alarm systems away from the main panel.
Depending on the annunciator and connected system, available controls can include acknowledge, silence, reset, drill, and recalibrate.
Power Systems
Fire Alarm Mod includes backup-power and generator-related functionality.
Power features can include panel batteries, generator systems, fuel storage, power output information, load information, lava-based generator fuel, and fuel pumps.
BluePoint Emergency System
BluePoint emergency equipment is included alongside the traditional fire alarm equipment.
BluePoint expands the mod beyond standard fire alarm systems with additional emergency-alert equipment, including dedicated activation devices, alarms, detectors, and control equipment.
Legacy E-Stop Equipment
Existing E-Stop equipment remains available in Fire Alarm Mod for compatibility with older worlds.
These devices are considered discontinued within Fire Alarm Mod as E-Stop functionality is being separated into its own project.
Built for Functional Systems
The goal of Fire Alarm Mod is to make the different parts of a fire alarm system actually work together.
The mod focuses on functional control panels, connected initiating and notification devices, alarm and trouble logic, automatic detection, silence and reset behavior, power conditions, detailed animations, interactive devices, and large multi-device systems.
Whether you're creating a small system for a house or installing alarms throughout an entire facility, Fire Alarm Mod is designed to support both simple and complex builds.
Anonymous Usage Data
Fire Alarm Mod collects limited anonymous usage statistics to help improve the mod and understand which features are being used.
Anonymous statistics may include counters for fire alarm device usage, pull station and activation-device usage, built-in alarm sound usage, and general feature usage.
This information is used for development purposes, including understanding which features are commonly used and helping determine where future improvements may be useful.
The analytics system is not intended to collect personally identifying information.
Anonymous analytics can be disabled through the mod's configuration. Disabling analytics does not disable the main functionality of the mod.
Compatibility
Supported Minecraft versions and mod loaders may vary between releases.
Check the information listed on each file before downloading to confirm compatibility with your Minecraft installation.
Backing up important worlds before updating or changing mods is recommended.
