Field Tally
A quick field report, not another auto-harvester. Run /fieldtally scan to count nearby mature and immature vanilla crops, see hydrated/dry/bare farmland, and find up to eight nearby dry-soil, bare-soil or low-light coordinates.
Usage
/fieldtally scan [radius]
Choose a radius from 4 to 24 blocks. The scan covers four blocks above and below you, stays in your current dimension and reads only already-loaded chunks. Partial results are clearly marked. There is a five-second per-player cooldown.
It never harvests, plants, changes inventory or blocks, or loads terrain. No background scans or telemetry.
Supported crops and limits
Vanilla wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot are counted through their real crop-age APIs, not generic age guesses. Bare farmland means air directly above it. Low light is an observation, not a promise about crop growth. Other crops and arbitrary modded age properties are outside the supported scope.
Commands are available to players. There is no claim or line-of-sight integration: nearby field information can be visible through walls and across claims. Server owners should check that this fits their privacy rules.
Installation
Server-side; no client mod is required for multiplayer. Install in your single-player mods folder to use it locally. Choose exactly one matching build: Forge 1.20.1 / Java 17; NeoForge 1.21.1 / Java 21; NeoForge 26.3 / Java 25. No extra library mods required.
Beta notice
This mod is new and not fully bug-proof. Pure logic, exact installed-server functional checks and five-mod compatibility checks passed. Client visual testing remains unverified. Back up your worlds and report issues in comments with Minecraft and loader versions.
