Feral Pixelmon

Feral Pixelmon adds dangerous variations of every Pixelmon in the game within 1.16.5.

Ferals health and damage are enhanced by rage which creates a red aura around them, they will track & attack you with their own unique moveset/animations which can lead to blindness, poison, slowness, instant death, etc. :)

If your pokemon is out with you in the world, it will engage in battling with the feral all by itself and earn the same amount of XP from defeating it as if it were a normal Pixelmon battle. This also makes keeping your pokemon out with you feel much more like a needed buddy system, without one out Ferals will target you primarily.

Ferals have an overall 15% chance of spawning and this can be increased with global multipliers. Ferals are noticeable in the world by their rage red aura and the red "(Feral)" next to their nameplate.

Ferals cannot be caught in any Pokeballs without first being calmed. Each Feral has an assortment of Vanilla items it can drop upon death, all information on which Pokemon you need to track down for an item/material can be found in the Feral Pokemon Field Guide, extra information on items, what buffs specific Calmed variants of types give the player & more can also be found in the Field Guide. 

With the recent updates, CalmRoot allows you to calm down Ferals long enough to capture them like normal. Captured Ferals turn into Calmed variants with an Aqua aura and increased stats, Calmed variants in addition when out in the world with you will give you specific buffs you can track and stack, such as speed, resistance, dolphins grace, etc.
