Almost everything here comes from the API problems you reported. If you picked Grok or Gemini and it did not work, this is the update.

◆ New

• She speaks English or Spanish. A language button in the config menu. The first time she picks it up from your Minecraft language — play in English and she answers in English without you touching anything. On a server each player gets their own. Also /verity_idioma espanol|english.
• Google Gemini joins OpenAI and xAI (Grok). Gemini has a real free tier, so you can play without paying anything. There is now one key box per provider: fill all three and switch with the button whenever you like.
• macOS and Linux are supported. Outside Windows, keys used to be discarded silently and the mod could not be used at all. They are now stored in your user folder, readable only by your account.
• New achievements. The old ones greeted you as "your minecraft helper friend" over a yellow wool background — the orb Verity used to be. They are hers now, and they follow your game language.

◆ Fixed

• Grok and Gemini did not work, for four reasons at once. They were sent OpenAI-only parameters, they kept the previous provider's model, leaving the model box empty fell back to a model that does not exist, and all three built-in model names had been retired. All four fixed: the current defaults are gpt-5.6-luna, grok-4.20-non-reasoning and gemini-3.6-flash, and a retired model you had saved is swapped automatically.
• Switching provider could destroy a saved key. There was a single key box whose meaning depended on the button, so pasting a key before picking the provider filed it under the previous one. The symptom was your Google key being sent to OpenAI. It cannot happen now: each provider has its own box, and the label turns red if a key looks like it belongs to someone else.
• It now tells you what is wrong. She used to say [Verity AI] HTTP Error 404 out loud as if it were dialogue, and the log kept the number but never the reason. You now get a plain sentence in your language: rejected key, missing model, account out of credit.
• With Gemini: less waiting, no more cut-off replies, less throttling. Her answers arrived truncated mid-word, and every 503 — high demand cost you the whole message. Those transient failures are now retried once, she asks Gemini for minimal reasoning, and there is room left for the reply. And since its free tier allows 15 requests a minute, when a minute fills up only what she says on her own steps aside — work, jealousy, passing comments — which already has written lines. Your own messages are never held back. Nothing changes for OpenAI or xAI.
• The menu now tells the truth about the provider. It said "Straight to OpenAI" no matter what you had picked. It now names the one actually in use, the active key box is marked IN USE, and the test button asks your provider whether your key works and your model exists. It costs nothing: it reads the model list, which is free.

◆ Changed

• The external configurator is gone. It was a separate program bundled inside the mod for entering your keys. The in-game menu has done all of that for several versions, so it was redundant — and a mod that extracts and launches an executable should not exist, however much that executable is its own. Its two buttons are gone from the Voice & AI tab, which is now shorter, with the test result right under the button.
• The light download drops from 19 MB to 10 MB and now contains no binaries at all. On macOS and Linux use that one: the extra 131 MB in the full download are the offline voice engine, which only works on Windows. Everything else runs the same on every system.

Reminder: the microphone always needs an OpenAI key, even with Grok or Gemini selected for chat — it transcribes with Whisper, and neither xAI nor Google offers that here.

Casi todo lo de esta versión sale de los fallos que reportasteis con las API. Si elegiste Grok o Gemini y no te funcionaba, esta es la actualización.

◆ Novedades

• Habla en español o en inglés. Botón de idioma en el menú del mod. La primera vez lo saca del idioma de tu Minecraft: si juegas en inglés, te habla en inglés sin que toques nada. En un servidor cada jugador tiene el suyo. También /verity_idioma espanol|english.
• Google Gemini se une a OpenAI y xAI (Grok). Gemini tiene capa gratuita de verdad, así que puedes jugar sin pagar nada. Ahora hay una casilla de clave por proveedor: mete las tres y cambia con el botón cuando quieras.
• Compatible con macOS y Linux. Antes, fuera de Windows, las claves se descartaban en silencio y el mod no se podía usar. Ahora se guardan en tu carpeta personal, y sólo tu cuenta puede leerlas.
• Logros nuevos. Los de antes te saludaban como «your minecraft helper friend» sobre un fondo de lana amarilla — la esfera que Verity fue. Ahora son suyos, y salen en el idioma de tu juego.

◆ Arreglado

• Grok y Gemini no funcionaban, y por cuatro motivos a la vez. Se les enviaban parámetros exclusivos de OpenAI, se conservaba el modelo del proveedor anterior, dejar la casilla del modelo vacía caía en un modelo inexistente, y los tres nombres de fábrica estaban caducados. Los cuatro corregidos: los modelos al día son gpt-5.6-luna, grok-4.20-non-reasoning y gemini-3.6-flash, y si tenías guardado uno retirado se cambia solo.
• Cambiar de proveedor podía destruir una clave guardada. Había una sola casilla cuyo significado dependía del botón, así que pegar la clave antes de elegir el proveedor la guardaba en la ranura del anterior. El síntoma era tu clave de Google viajando a OpenAI. Ya no puede pasar: cada proveedor tiene la suya, y la etiqueta se pone en rojo si la clave parece de otro.
• Ahora te dice qué está fallando. Antes soltaba [Verity AI] HTTP Error 404 en voz alta como si fuera diálogo suyo, y el registro guardaba el número pero nunca el motivo. Ahora recibes una frase clara en tu idioma: clave rechazada, modelo que no existe, cuenta sin saldo.
• Con Gemini: menos esperas, menos cortes y menos saturación. Sus respuestas llegaban cortadas a media palabra, y los 503 — mucha demanda te costaban el mensaje entero. Ahora esos fallos pasajeros se reintentan una vez, se le pide razonamiento mínimo y se le deja sitio a la frase. Y como su capa gratuita permite 15 peticiones por minuto, cuando el minuto se llena sólo cede el turno lo que ella dice sola —trabajo, celos, comentarios—, que ya tiene sus frases escritas. Lo que tú escribes no se frena nunca. Con OpenAI y xAI no cambia nada.
• El menú ya dice la verdad sobre el proveedor. Ponía «Directa a OpenAI» eligieras lo que eligieras. Ahora nombra al que de verdad se usa, la casilla activa se marca EN USO, y el botón de probar le pregunta a tu proveedor si tu clave vale y si tu modelo existe. No gasta nada: lee la lista de modelos, que es gratis.

◆ Cambios

• Fuera el configurador externo. Era un programa aparte que el mod llevaba dentro para meter las claves. El menú del juego hace todo lo suyo desde hace varias versiones, así que sobraba — y un mod que extrae y lanza un ejecutable no debería existir, por mucho que el ejecutable sea propio. Sus dos botones desaparecen de la pestaña Voz e IA, que queda más corta y con el resultado de la prueba justo debajo del botón.
• La descarga ligera pasa de 19 MB a 10 MB y ya no contiene ningún binario. En macOS y Linux usa ésa: los 131 MB de más de la completa son el motor de voz sin conexión, que sólo funciona en Windows. Todo lo demás va igual en cualquier sistema.

Recordatorio: el micrófono necesita siempre una clave de OpenAI, aunque tengas Grok o Gemini elegidos para conversar — transcribe con Whisper, y ni xAI ni Google ofrecen eso por aquí.
