FastCycle
FastCycle is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that makes navigating through your Minecraft command history faster and more convenient.
If you frequently use the same commands, you probably know the problem: pressing the up arrow often brings up the same commands multiple times or even regular chat messages. FastCycle improves the history navigation so you can quickly get back to the commands you actually want to reuse.
Features
Skips duplicate commands: If the same command appears multiple times in your history, only the most recent identical entry is considered while cycling through it.
Focuses on commands: When navigating with the up and down arrow keys, regular chat messages are skipped.
Checks known commands: FastCycle recognizes both server-side commands and client-side Fabric commands and can skip entries that are clearly invalid.
Safe handling of unknown commands: Commands that FastCycle cannot reliably validate are kept instead of being removed unnecessarily.
Does not modify your actual chat history: The mod does not delete any history entries. It only changes which entries are shown while navigating through them.
Toggle it directly in-game: Use /fastc on and /fastc off to enable or disable the filtering at any time.
Your preference is saved: The current enabled/disabled state is stored in config/fastcycle.json and persists after restarting the game.
Enabled by default.
Client-side only: FastCycle does not need to be installed on the server.
