Many of the recipes are shaped meaning that you cannot just put the items anywhere in the crafting table to get the item.

pumpkin+seeds= hybrid marrow seed

potato+seeds= hybrid root seed

seeds+seeds= hybrid green seed

apple+seeds= hybrid fruit  seed

Sweet berry+seeds= hybrid berry seed

Cocoa beans+seeds= hybrid bean seed

beetroot+seeds= hybrid allium seed

glowberry+seeds= hybrid fantasy seed

wheat+seeds= hybrid spice seed

fiddleheads---from ferns/seeds

CROPS:

Butternut squash

Ginger

Corn

Blackberry

Raspberry

Snowpeas

Instructions( mix seeds with different foods ( potato, sweet berry, wheat, pumpkin, etc ) to get hybrid seed. Mix hybrid seed with seeds to get your defined new growable crop seed. for instance, to get butternut squash seeds to plant, mix a pumpkin with wheat seeds, to get hybrid marrow seed, Then that alongside more wheat seeds should give you the squash seeds that are plantable into a new crop.
