# GameFantom Mad Science — 1.1.1
### Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge
**Performance and stability update**

### Performance improvements

- Reduced redundant vertex submissions in the compatibility renderer by combining compatible opaque triangles where shader compatibility permits.
- Reduced repeated matrix calculations during rendering.
- Reduced temporary allocations when building connected observation-glass geometry.
- Added a bounded geometry cache that clears during resource reloads.

### Bug fixes

- Fixed a collision-cache race that could cause `ConcurrentModificationException` crashes during chunk rendering and saved-world loading.
- Improved coordination between collision and render-bounds caches.
- Made prop-list reads safe during concurrent rendering and prop updates.

### Shader compatibility

- Preserved the original vertex layout while shader packs are active to maintain shader-derived lighting, normals and UV behavior.
- Tested with **Embeddium, Oculus, Complementary Reimagined and BSL**, including rendering, resource reloads and saved-world reopening.

### Visual quality

- Preserved all 60 models and original texture assets.
- Preserved existing model detail, proportions, placement and gameplay behavior.
- Applied lossless JAR compression.

### Performance note

The all-model audit recorded **32.35% fewer vertex submissions** in the eligible compatibility-rendering path. This measures reduced rendering work; hardware FPS improvements were not measured.

### Installation

Replace the previous Mad Science JAR with version **1.1.1**. Keep only one Mad Science JAR in your `mods` folder.
