✦ Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines ✦
A Fantasy Roleplay Expansion of Bloodlines, Magic, Abilities & Modded Worlds ♡
Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines is a fantasy-focused roleplay expansion currently in Beta, created to bring bloodlines, supernatural abilities, magic, and deeper player interactions into the Minecraft experience.
The original idea behind Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines was to create a roleplay system centered around bloodlines and abilities, with a strong focus on player interaction and expanded character possibilities through additional player models. As development continued, however, the idea grew into something much larger.
Instead of creating every feature entirely from scratch, Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines began taking inspiration from the amazing systems already provided by other mods and adapting them specifically for roleplay. The result is a mod designed to act as a roleplay add-on for other mods, modifying, connecting, and expanding their mechanics to create a more immersive fantasy world.
The goal is not simply to add another collection of powers. It is to make the supernatural elements of a modded world feel like they actually belong within the roleplay experience, giving players meaningful bloodlines, abilities, weaknesses, transformations, classes, and interactions.
Every version of Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines is still growing, and features may change, be improved, or receive additional mechanics as development continues. ♡
🌸 Minecraft 1.12.2
The Minecraft 1.12.2 version is currently the most developed version of Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines and has reached Beta v1.1.
This update began expanding the mod beyond its original bloodline concept by tapping into Electroblob's Wizardry and using its extensive magic system as a foundation for new roleplay classes.
✧ Magical Classes
Version 1.1 introduces new classes designed around the magic provided by Electroblob's Wizardry.
Rather than simply adding a few custom spells, the system is intended to make the existing collection of Wizardry spells part of the roleplay experience. Classes can gain access to different magical abilities, allowing players to develop characters with their own magical identity and playstyle.
The goal is to make the magic feel like an actual part of the character rather than simply another collection of Minecraft abilities.
There are still some bugs and unfinished areas within the current 1.12.2 implementation, and some systems require additional balancing and polishing. These issues are expected to be addressed through future updates as the Beta progresses.
Over time, the magical systems will become more stable and refined, allowing Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines to provide a much smoother fantasy roleplay experience.
🦇 Vampiric Bloodlines
The 1.12.2 version also expands upon Vampirism, transforming its existing vampire mechanics into something more focused on roleplay.
Vampires are not simply another creature that gains a collection of abilities. Their bloodline is intended to have its own rules, weaknesses, interactions, and methods of creating new vampires.
One of the major changes involves how vampires can turn others.
Instead of simply drinking someone's blood and immediately creating another vampire, the roleplay system introduces a dedicated interaction for turning another player.
A vampire can activate the Turn Someone interaction and then begin draining the target. The process is designed around the idea of transferring the vampire's curse or bloodline rather than simply killing the victim.
When the victim has been completely drained, their health is regenerated as part of the turning process rather than simply leaving them dead. The exact timing and behavior of this system may continue to change during Beta development as the mechanics are tested and stabilized.
This creates a much more interactive way for vampires to spread their bloodline while giving players an actual roleplay moment rather than reducing vampirism to a simple attack or potion.
🌙 Vampire Weaknesses & Strength
Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines also changes how vampires interact with the world.
With the roleplay system enabled, vampires are no longer intended to die through the ordinary methods used by the base Vampirism experience.
Instead, their weaknesses become more specialized.
Sunlight and wood become important dangers to vampires, creating recognizable supernatural weaknesses that can be incorporated directly into roleplay.
Vampire strength can also become dangerous to other vampires. A powerful vampire is not necessarily safe simply because their opponent shares the same bloodline.
This creates opportunities for vampire conflicts, bloodline hierarchy, combat roleplay, and supernatural rivalries.
Some of these mechanics are still being refined, and the exact behavior may continue to change as future updates improve the system.
🩸 Bloodline Interaction
The bloodline system is designed to make supernatural characters feel different from one another.
Rather than every supernatural race simply having a collection of abilities, Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines focuses on the idea that your bloodline should matter.
A character's abilities, weaknesses, transformations, and interactions can all become part of their identity.
This is especially important when different mods are combined. Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines is intended to serve as the connecting layer between those systems, allowing their features to become part of one larger roleplay environment.
✦ Minecraft 1.20.1
The Minecraft 1.20.1 version is still in development and has not yet received the same level of development as the 1.12.2 version.
The next Beta releases are planned to begin bringing the same philosophy into 1.20.1 by connecting Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines with other supernatural and fantasy mods.
One of the main areas being explored is Vampirism, much like the approach already taken in the 1.12.2 version.
However, the 1.20.1 version is intended to go even further by incorporating additional supernatural bloodlines and creating more interactions between them.
🧜 Mermaids
Future 1.20.1 development is planned to explore the addition of mermaid-related roleplay through MerMod.
The goal is to use the existing mod as a foundation while adapting its features toward the Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines experience.
Rather than simply adding mermaids as another creature or ability set, the intention is to make them feel like an actual playable supernatural bloodline within the larger roleplay world.
Their abilities, identity, interactions, and relationship with other bloodlines can continue to expand as development progresses.
🐺 Werewolves
Werewolves are another major planned addition for the 1.20.1 version through the Werewolves mod.
The goal is to bring werewolf transformations and abilities into the same roleplay framework used for the other supernatural bloodlines.
This opens the door for more character possibilities, supernatural conflicts, transformations, and unique roleplay interactions.
Werewolves are intended to become more than just a transformation mechanic. They are part of the larger vision of creating a world where different supernatural bloodlines can exist alongside one another and interact in meaningful ways.
🦇🐺 Vampire & Werewolf Hybrids
One of the most interesting systems being considered for the 1.20.1 version is the ability for players to become hybrids between vampires and werewolves.
The intention is to explore whether the two bloodlines can coexist within the same character, creating a unique supernatural combination.
This idea is based partly on the bloodline interactions already being explored in the 1.12.2 version.
In the current 1.12.2 concept, vampires cannot become werewolves, but werewolves can become vampires.
This creates an unusual relationship between the two bloodlines and gives the supernatural system additional depth instead of allowing every transformation to work identically.
The 1.20.1 version may expand this concept further, allowing hybrid characters to become part of the roleplay experience while still maintaining unique strengths and weaknesses.
✧ A Mod That Works With Other Mods
At its heart, Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines is designed to be more than a traditional standalone content mod.
It is becoming a roleplay add-on for other mods.
The idea is to look at what an existing mod already offers and ask:
“How can this become part of the roleplay world?”
Magic can become classes.
Vampirism can become a detailed bloodline.
Werewolves can become supernatural transformations.
Mermaids can become a playable fantasy lineage.
Existing abilities can become character-specific powers.
Existing mechanics can be changed to better fit the rules of the roleplay world.
This approach allows Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines to continue growing without being restricted to a single type of content.
♡ A Growing Fantasy World
Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines is still in Beta, which means the project is actively being developed and refined.
Some features may currently be buggy, incomplete, or subject to change. The 1.12.2 version is further along, while the 1.20.1 version is still being built toward its next Beta release.
As development continues, systems will become more stable, mechanics will be refined, and additional bloodlines, classes, abilities, interactions, and integrations can be introduced.
The ultimate goal is to create a cute, immersive, fantasy-focused roleplay experience where your character is more than a Minecraft player.
Your bloodline matters.
Your abilities matter.
Your weaknesses matter.
Your choices matter.
And the mods around you become part of the world rather than simply being separate additions.
Korenya Roleplay Bloodlines is only the beginning. ✦♡
