What's new
1.1.0
New
Now available for Minecraft 1.21.1 and 26.2 as well as 1.20.1. The 26.2
build requires Java 25, which is what Minecraft itself requires on that
version.
Elites finally pay out. They repeat their own loot table by rank, from twice
for a Tough up to five times for a General, add supply rolls on the same
curve, and the upper ranks drop a signature piece of their own. Experience
scales the same way. Until now an elite was only harder to kill, never more
rewarding.
The Wither and the Ender Dragon drop rewards of their own. The Wither leaves
extra nether stars, diamonds and netherite scrap in any dimension, since it
is a creature of the Nether wherever you drag it. The dragon leaves one to
three netherite ingots and several rolls of the End pool.
Dimension spoils. Bosses, legendaries and elites of rank Elite or higher can
drop netherite scrap when killed in the Nether, and shulker shells, ender
eyes, chorus fruit, dragon breath or pearls when killed in the End. That
covers endermen and shulkers on their home ground.
Wider loot pools. Leather through diamond, chainmail, gold, shields, turtle
helmets and the newer weapons on the versions that have them, plus cooked
food, ores and utility odds and ends in the supplies.
Fixed
The stealth readout stayed on HIDDEN while pillagers and skeletons hunted
you from beyond fifteen blocks. Being hunted now reads as DANGER at any
distance inside its own wider radius, while CAUTION keeps the close one.
A legendary Wither rained loot. Every loot table in the game passes through
the mod, not only the ones rolled on death, and a block destroyed by a mob
rolls its own table pointing back at that mob. Every block the Wither
smashed looked like a legendary dying.
Changed
Mutation particles can be turned off, and no particles are sent at all when
no player is within range to see them. Mutating mobs in bulk used to bring
the game to a crawl.
Every system has its own switch in the config, including the loot doubling.
Worth knowing: the multipliers apply on top of Looting, so a heavily enchanted
sword against a mutated General multiplies an already enriched table. Set
doubleVanillaLoot to false if that is too much.
