First public release. This is an ALPHA: it works, it is played every evening, and it will still have bugs.

WHAT'S IN IT

• An impostor that copies a player who is online right now — their name, their armour, the item in their hand. Health-bar mods read it as friendly. • It speaks in that player's REAL recorded voice, from Simple Voice Chat. Nothing is synthesised: every sound is a clip of a real person, chosen. • Talk to it and it answers. Accuse it of being a mimic and it denies it — twice. The third time it agrees, and then it turns. • When it turns: an iron axe, full health in front of you, a scream in your friend's voice, and silence after that. Wooden doors break in one second, iron doors it opens, walls it chops through, and it builds a pillar to reach you. An angry mimic cannot be killed — except on one night. • The Blood Moon. Two moons, no chat, no sleep, and two pale copies of every living player hunting somebody else. Dying says YOUR IDENTITY WAS STOLEN. • Watchers: weeks before that night, single silhouettes start standing at the edge of your render distance. Approach one and it walks away. Later ones don't. • One lie sent to you alone: on the Player Locator Bar your friend's dot is moved onto the impostor. • Optional local AI (1.4–2.2 GB, downloaded once, runs offline) so it picks the recording that actually answers instead of one at random.

VOICE RECORDING — READ THIS

Every player is shown a consent screen on join and must accept. Recordings never leave the machine. The server owner can list, time-limit and erase any player's voice completely. Only genuine microphone recordings are ever played.

KNOWN LIMITS OF THIS BUILD

• Two players are needed for the impostor to appear on its own, for the pale hunters and for the locator-bar dot. Singleplayer works for testing. • The bundled AI has been installed and tested on macOS; the Windows/Linux install path is fixed but not yet confirmed by a real install. • Simple Voice Chat is NOT bundled — install it yourself, or the impostor is mute. • Every screen, message and command reply is in English and Russian, but the server log stays Russian: it is written for the author, not for you.

Please report what breaks. A bug you tell me about gets fixed.
