Description
Fairy Mischief
Tiny, mischievous fairies have moved into your world. Some will help you, some will steal from you, and all of them remember how you treat them.
Meet the fairies
- Thief: sneaks up to take items, then escapes toward its home.
- Gatherer: collects plants and can offer gifts to trusted players.
- Guardian: protects its home and fights threats to its village.
- Glow Fairy: brings a little light to the forest.
- Royal Fairy: a rare fairy whose trust can lead to special rewards.
- Prankster: plays tricks on nearby players.
Earn their trust
Give gifts, respect their homes and make friends. Fairies remember each player, so your actions affect how they respond. A Fairy Bell or Fairy Net can help recover stolen belongings, while an Anti-Theft Amulet protects your inventory. Other equipment includes the Fairy Compass, treasure pouches and Fairy Wings.
Build a fairy home
Explore hidden fairy houses and villages, or create your own enchanted garden with fae willow timber, moonstone bricks, bark shingles, glowing moss, crystals, flowers and mushroom lights.
The visual refresh brings the materials closer to Minecraft's pixel-art style. Small wooden chests, tables, doors, windows and planters are made for fairy-scale builds. Firefly jars and lanterns finish the garden, while dedicated 16x16 inventory sprites keep the objects readable in the creative menu.
The gallery shows the current mod in Minecraft, including a staged garden, the six fairy types, the redesigned furniture, crystals, evening lights and inventory artwork. The staged garden is a showcase build, not an example of a naturally generated village.
Requirements
- Minecraft Java Edition 26.3
- Forge 66.1.0
- Java 25
Install Fairy Mischief in the mods folder on both the client and server. The base mod does not require GeckoLib. The separate creature expansions have their own dependencies.
New world-generation structures appear in newly explored chunks. Existing buildings are not automatically rebuilt by a texture update.
