Faded Pearl 1.9.0-beta.1

The Living Companion Update makes Fade more aware of his surroundings and shared experiences.

New features

  • Shared gaze, resting beside the player and resting near home.
  • Autonomous interest in bookshelves, enchanting tables and workstations.
  • New memories and dialogue for villages, diamonds, pets, buildings, armour, reunions and night watches.
  • Five persistent story memories connected with the End Portal, Dragon, Dragon Egg and returning home.
  • Redesigned Resonating Anchor with separate inactive and glowing active states.
  • New Enderman Journal entries explaining discovered behaviours.

Improvements

  • Fixed random wandering interrupting calm behaviours.
  • Improved priorities between ambient actions, commands, combat, rescue and hazards.
  • Preserved compatibility with 1.8 worlds.

This is a beta release intended for community testing. Back up important worlds before updating. Multiplayer remains experimental and requires the same mod version on the server and every client.
