❓ What is This Mod About? ❓

Did you ever feel like there were too little variety when choosing what flowers to use in your garden? Are you bored of having to find a Flower Forest just so you can get a few more tulips? Then this is the mod for you!

With this mod there are 35 new flowers to choose from, which includes 2 completely new types of flowers! Now you can also renew your flowers, you just need a bit of Bone Meal, a place to grow them and then you just have to wait! But this is not all! Most flowers have a slight chance of mutating meaning the new flower will have a different color which can be useful for finding new colors of your favorite flower without having to walk for miles.

💐 So Many New Flowers! 💐

Currently there are 35 flowers added. These include:

- 4 new Tulips (Most can be found in Flower Forests)

- 4 new Poppies (Which you'll have to grow for yourself)

- 4 new Orchids (These are pretty different from the existing Blue Orchid and can be found in Jungles)

- 2 new Alliums (Found in Flower Forests and Meadows)

- 2 new Daisies (One of them only found in Flower Forests the other you can also find in Sunflower Fields)

- 6 new Rose Bushes (Found where other Red Rose Bushes could already be found)

- 3 new Peonies (Found where the original (now Magenta) Peony could be found)

- 1 new "Sunflower" (You'll have to grow Sunflower under pretty specific conditions to find out what it is. You can also brew it into a Nightvision Potion)

- 1 new "Bloomed" version Dandelion (You get it by Bone Mealing a Dandelion. You can blow it and you might get Luck for a short time)

- 5 new Sages (New 2 block tall flowers ,one can be found on Plains another next to Rivers, the rest you'll have to grow for yourself)

- 3 new Myosotises (New small flowers also known as Never-Forgets, they can be found at Meadows)

🌼 How to Grow Your Own Garden 🌼

As previously mentioned you can grow new flowers when you place them on a Farmland next to another that has Bone Meal on it. Oh yeah you can now place Bone Meal on empty Farmlands. It usually takes as long as for Wheat to grow up until you'll get your new flower but it is completely random and depends on the worlds random tick speed.

There's almost always a 10% chance your flower will mutate. Different flowers have different mutation patterns. Some like tulips have an almost cyclical mutation pattern meaning a Red Tulip only turn into an Orange or Pink Tulip, an Orange Tulip can turn into a Red or Yellow Tulip but a Blue Tulip for example has to turn into a Purple Tulip, then a Pink Tulip to finally turn into a Red Tulip. Other flowers like Peonies have a completely random pattern meaning for example from a Pink Peony you could get any of the other 3 Peonies. You'll have to experiment to see which flowers can turn into which other colors and how.

This is also a nice way to get yourself some dyes as all the flowers you can grow can be crafted into their respective dyes.

🌷 A Stylish New Villager 🌷

The mod also adds a new Villager profession the Botanist. You can sell him Bone Meal, a few rarer plants, but most importantly you can buy 3 different "Flower Bundles". These all have 6 random flowers dependent on its type. You just right click with them and you can start your own garden in no time. The three type of bundles are:

- Bundle of Tulips (these can include any type of Tulips)

- Bundle of Exotic Flowers (for now these only include the different types of Orchids)

- Bundle of Wildflowers (these include all the other small flowers besides of course the Wither Rose)

🌻 Feel Accomplished! 🌻

It wouldn't be me if I didn't add a few advancements for you to complete while collecting flowers. These are not very complicated, mostly about collecting and growing your own flowers and visiting flower related biomes but they are there if wish to pursue them in your free time.

🌹 Other Changes 🌹

There are a few more things changed by the mod. The most obvious is the new texture for Sunflowers but there are also a few item name and recipe changes. These are nothing major just a few little changes to fit with the new flowers added by the mod. If for some reason you don't see these changes check if the "Mod Resources" are above the "Default" resource pack in your resource pack settings.

FOR THOSE WHO USE SHADERS!

To make the new plants sway and even have the correct lighting you should put their IDs in the shaders config file. Below are all the IDs needed so you can just copy them to the correct place.

🌺 Plans for the Future 🌺

In the future I would like to keep this mod up to date like my other mods and also add more flowers. These might include cactus flowers and flowering water lilies.
