Fabulous Adventures

A little project I've been working on to make exploration more fun and diverse. This mod adds all sorts of features like new ways of movement, skills & abilities and even a skilltree for you to unlock and upgrade your items weapons and stats. You'll unlock more features as you go giving you all sorts of advantages on ground, under water and even when soaring through the skies.

Features

Skilltree!

This is your main method of progression in this Mod. It consits of multiple branches based around a certain theme like player upgrades or abilities. Each Node costs a certain amount of skillpoints you can earn through:

• mining blocks
• travelling
• killing mobs
• using items

The more skillpoints you unlock through a certain way of obtaining them, the harder it gets to earn more. This rewards you for gathering skillpoints in multiple ways.

You can unlock certain items, tools and weapons coming with the mod (see below) and once unlocked, upgrade them to make them even more useful. You can unlock certain abilities giving you more ways to move around your world. And you can unlock upgrades for yourself like faster movement or more health.

Advanced Map and Map Displays

Ever thought maps in minecraft were a bit limited? Introducing the Advanced Map! A map you can upgrade to scale automatically as you leave its bounds or shift along with you. It also lets you place waypoints along your journey visible in your world and on the map so you can never get lost.

There's also a new way of displaying your maps now. Item frames are small and boring. This is why this mod adds map displays. You can place them in a square and display your maps as big as you want giving you whole new way to show off your maps.

Glider

A new way of exploring the skies. Activate it in the air to start gliding. A serious competitor to the elytra since you don't loose altitude as quickly and don't need rockets to cover great distances. The longer you glide, the more speed you build, but be careful. If you turn too sharply you can loose your speed.

Oxygen Tank

A tank of air you can take with you under water, which supplies you with air when being next to it. Once it's empty you can recharge it by simply placing it above water until it's filled up again.

Claymore

A powerful weapon to fight of waves of mobs in an area around you. It's regular attack works like any other weapon, however when charging it (by holding right-click) you unleash a powerful area attack around you dealing major damage and knocking away enemies. The longer you charge it, the more damage it deals. When charging it to its max, you even gain a little damage bonus on top.

Machete

A tool you can use to clear patches of vegetation to navigate easier.

Rope Arrows

An arrow you can shoot at a ceiling to let down a rope you can climb up to be able to get to places high up easier.
