Fabricated
Run Fabric mods on NeoForge. Drop Fabricated and your Fabric mods into the mods folder, and they load right next to your NeoForge mods.
Supports Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3.
⚠️ Alpha. Many Fabric mods already work, but plenty still patch code that NeoForge changed and get disabled before they run. Read What works below before building a modpack around it.
Why Fabricated?
- Lightweight. No dependencies beyond what NeoForge already ships. Translated mods are cached, so later launches skip the work.
- Robust. Broken Fabric mods are disabled instead of crashing your game, whenever that can be decided before their code runs. Every decision is explained in
logs/fabric-bridge-report.txt. - Safe. Mod jars are treated as untrusted input. Fabricated never runs mod code while translating, never modifies your jars, never touches the network, and has no telemetry.
What works
- Fabric entrypoints, the Fabric Loader API, mixins and access wideners
- Mods that add items, blocks, entities, block entities, registries, built-in packs, loot table changes and more
- Many Fabric API modules are built in, and the rest load from the official Fabric API jar after a safety check
- Fabric mods' plugins for JEI, REI, Jade, WTHIT and Simple Voice Chat are picked up by those mods' NeoForge versions
- Fabric mods' config screens open from NeoForge's mod list
- Works alongside Forgified Fabric API and Sodium for NeoForge
Full per-module details: Compatibility
What doesn't (yet)
- Fabric API modules that conflict with NeoForge, until Fabricated implements them itself
- Fabric builds of renderer mods (Sodium, Iris…): use their NeoForge builds instead
- Mods that use Fabric Loader internals
- Fabric mods built for a different Minecraft version
- Sinytra Connector can't be installed at the same time (both load Fabric mods)
Installing
- Install NeoForge for your Minecraft version.
- Download the Fabricated file for your exact Minecraft version.
- Put it in your
modsfolder, along with your Fabric mods. - If your Fabric mods need Fabric API, add the official Fabric API jar too. Fabricated doesn't include or download it.
- Launch the game.
If a mod exists for both loaders, the NeoForge version is used.
Something didn't load?
Open logs/fabric-bridge-report.txt. It lists every Fabric mod, whether it loaded, why not, and a suggested fix. In game:
/fabricated: quick summary/fabricated disabled: which mods didn't load and why/fabricated why <mod>: one mod's result and how to fix it
Forge?
Builds for Minecraft Forge (1.21.11+) and Forge 1.20.1 exist as experimental previews. NeoForge is the main supported platform.
