What's new

Experimental Fabric alpha for Minecraft 26.2 and Java 25.

Wearable and placed backpacks, storage upgrades, steam power, and stacked item/fluid/energy conduits with searchable allow/block filters. Includes the revised backpack layout, upgrade icons and worn backpack models.

Requires Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer and Fabric API 0.158.0+26.2 or newer compatible with Minecraft 26.2. Energy API 5.0.0 is included. JEI is optional and is not bundled.

Verification: 494 unit tests and 170 native server GameTests. Installed-client rendering and multiplayer acceptance checks for this candidate remain pending. Back up worlds and use a fresh 26.2 instance. For Cobblemon 1.7.3, use the separate Minecraft 1.21.1 build instead. Do not install both builds together.
