Explorers of the Rift turns Cobblemon into a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon–style adventure: you don't train Pokémon, you ARE one. Take the personality test, pick your partner, found your rescue team and explore dungeons that change every time you enter.

✨ Features

🐾 Play as a Pokémon

• Personality test at the start, just like the original games: your answers decide which Pokémon you are and your nature.
• Play as any Pokémon in Cobblemon, with its own model, animations and types.
• 4 moves on hotkeys, each with its own cooldown, effect and animation: projectiles, beams, melee hits, area attacks, tornadoes, moves that hide you underground…
• 800+ moves adapted, with type effectiveness, critical hits, status conditions and stat changes.
• Levels, experience and evolution: evolve by level, with stones or with items.
• Type traits: Flying types fly, Water types breathe underwater, Fire types don't burn…
• Real stats: nature, EVs (vitamins and feathers) and IVs (candies), all shown on your profile (key I).
• Mega Evolution and form changes with the G key, if you have the mods that add them installed. Mega Stones, forms and fusions come from Mega Showdown, and the Legends: Z-A Megas from Mega Z-A (zamega). They are not part of this mod. What this mod adds is the ability to use them while you play as a Pokémon.
• Abilities through Gummis, plus held items: Leftovers, Choice Band, Rocky Helmet, Metronome, Weakness Policy, Loaded Dice…
  
  

🤝 Your partner

• A Pokémon that follows you and fights by your side with its own moves.
• It levels up with you, evolves, and you choose its moves.
• Swap it for any Pokémon in your party, give it vitamins and talk to it.
  
  

🏕️ Rescue team & missions

• Place your mailbox to found your exploration team and your base.
• Daily missions from Pelipper around the world and job board missions inside dungeons: rescues, deliveries, escorts, outlaws…
• Explorer ranks from Normal to Expert, each with its own level cap.
• Pelipper Gazette with news, lore and every crafting recipe.
  
  

🏰 Mystery dungeons

• Randomly generated floors with rooms and corridors, different every time.
• Sleeping wild Pokémon, Monster Houses and hidden traps: poison, sleep, explosions, warp…
• Boss fights with health bar, waves, minions and a first-time dialogue.

🛒 Villages & NPCs

• Kecleon with a daily shop, plus a travelling Kecleon who shows up now and then… don't make him angry.
• Electivire links your moves, Chansey heals you, Persian runs the bank and Kangaskhan stores your items.

🎒 Mystery Dungeon items

• Seeds, orbs, thorns, throwing rocks, ribbons, bands and scarves, all craftable.
• Berries, apples and a belly that empties as you explore.
  
  

⚔️ Multiplayer

• PvP: moves and items work against other players.
• Combo moves like the Pledges (Fire, Grass and Water) for team play.
  
  

🎵 Music

This mod does not include music. It already knows which track to play in each zone: day, night, caves, sea, danger nearby or a legendary appearing. The songs come separately:

• Your own music: make a resource pack with .ogg files in assets/mm/sounds/musica/ named dia1–dia4, noche1, cueva1, mar1, peligro1, peligro2, legendario1 and test (personality test and main menu).

📦 Requirements

* Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric Loader
* Fabric API
* Cobblemon 1.7.x

Recommended:

* Mega Showdown, which adds the Mega Stones, form changes and fusions (they are not included in this mod).
* Mega Z-A (zamega), which adds the Legends: Z-A Megas (not included in this mod).
* TM Craft (by KiwiFlavoredApollo), required to learn moves with TMs. It is not available on CurseForge, so search for "TMCraft" on other mod sites and drop it into your mods folder. Without it the TMs won't work (other TM mods, like SimpleTMs, are not compatible).
* Explorers of the Rift – Music (optional addon), for zone-based music.

❓ FAQ

• Does it work on servers? Yes. Every player needs the mod installed.
• Is it in English? Yes. Move names and descriptions use the official Cobblemon translations, and Mystery Dungeon items use their official English names. Each player sees their own language, even on the same server.
