Exnergys Sift Version-1.3.0.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Exnergy's The Sift 1.3.0
The living world update: Sift Villages, farming, a full bee system, a living ecosystem, two new creatures, every creature redesigned with new animations, a new Rift, new decorative blocks, three lore books, giant caves, flatter and larger meadows and a long list of fixes.
๐จ Every Creature Redesigned
All 48 Sift creatures have brand new models and textures, built from the ground up in a clean, vanilla-style look
Real anatomy: jointed legs with knees, necks, tails, ears, jaws, wings and antennae
Hand-shaded textures with fur, wool, scales, shells, stone, bark, crystal and petal details
New animations made for each type of creature: four-legged walks with bending knees, grazing, tail and ear movement, flapping wings, drifting jellies and spirits, hopping frogs, squishy slimes, many-legged crawlers, golems with heavy steps and snapping jaws
Every spawn egg has been redrawn in the modern style, with the creature's colors and face
Fixed flickering where model parts touched each other
๐ Glimmerbees & Beekeeping
New creature: the Glimmerbee, a glowing teal bee found in Wild Meadows, Singer's Meadow, Choral Glen and Lullaby Hills
Glimmerbees pollinate blooms and crops, carry nectar home and fill their hives with honey. A full hive brings new bees
Glimmerbee Nests grow naturally on some White Willow trunks, and you can craft a Glimmerbee Hive
Harvest a full hive with Shears for Glimmercomb or with a Glass Bottle for Glimmer Honey. Light a campfire or Soulflame Brazier below to keep the bees calm
New items and blocks: Glimmercomb, Glimmercomb Block, Glimmer Honey Bottle, Glimmer Honey Block, Glimmerwax Candle and Glimmer Honey Bread
Village farmers sell Glimmer Honey, and weavers trade Glimmercomb and Glimmerwax Candles
๐ฆ New and Changed Creatures
New creature: the Spireneck, a tall, gentle grazer with a long diagonal neck that browses willow leaves in the meadows
Burstpuff: now spits seed globs from the air. The globs land, wait a moment and burst, leaving stinging yellow goo. When a Burstpuff dies it swells and explodes a moment later, so you have time to run. It grows angry when a Sproutle or Chorister is killed nearby
Snapjaw Bloom: now a cute, friendly grazing beast, part cow, sheep and goat, with a big pink tongue. It licks players who come very close and gives them Regeneration, and can be adopted with a Yellow Bloom
The Sift Mountain Lion is now called the Cragmane
The Veilkeeper now shows a boss bar when it awakens or fights you
The vanilla Sniffer and Allay are part of the Sift: Sniffers roam Wild Meadows and Lullaby Hills, and Allays rarely appear in Singer's Meadow, Lullaby Hills, Choral Glen and the Glimmering Hollow
๐๏ธ Sift Villages
Very rare villages now appear on the flat meadows of the Sift (about one region in every ~1,900 chunks)
Willow houses, a central Ichor well, a bell, glowcap lamps, two farms, grass and flowers, and a loot chest
Sift Villagers: adults and children, each with a calling: Librarian, Farmer, Smith, Cartographer, Fletcher, Weaver, Cook and Keeper
Trade emeralds for Sift food, Siftite gear, Rift Compasses, Waystone Shards, Soul Flasks, the three Sift books and Sift enchanted books
Trades restock over time, villages slowly grow with new children, and villagers stay near their home
A Resonant Golem guards every village
New Sift-style job blocks: Sift Furnace, Sift Composter, Sift Lectern, Sift Smithing Table, Sift Cartography Table, Sift Fletching Table and Sift Loom
Find the nearest village with `/locate structure the_sift:sift_village` or `/sift village`
๐พ Farming in the Sift
Till Sift grass, dirt and soil into Sift Farmland
New crops: Duskwheat and Glowroot. Crops grow faster on Sift Farmland
Ichor waters your fields instead of water
New food: Sift Bread and Glowcap Soup
Bone Meal and Spore Powder now work on every Sift grass: grass blocks spread plants around them and short grass grows tall
Green growth particles now show every time you use Bone Meal or Spore Powder
The Sporecap Sprout is now the Sporecap Sapling, with a new texture, next to the White Willow Sapling in the creative tab
๐พ A Living Ecosystem
Predators and prey: hunters chase their prey, prey flees, and herds warn each other and run together
Pack hunters: Gnashers, Shardstalkers, Sifterlings and Sculk Crawlers hunt in packs and only take on big prey when there are enough of them. Lone hunters avoid each other's kills
Herds: Dunegrazers, Bloomstags, Sift Goats, Puffleeces, Rockhoppers, Spirenecks and Snapjaw Blooms follow a herd leader
Grazing: grazers eat grass and blooms, Spirenecks nibble willow leaves, and grazing spreads new grass
Well-fed creatures breed, and predators raise young after successful hunts
Thornbacks shelter smaller creatures from hunters
Symbiosis: Chimeflies and Petalwings groom grazers and pollinate crops and saplings, Sproutles groom Thornbacks, Sporelings spread glowcaps and Lumenmoths look after Glimmerkits and Mossnibs
Herds migrate across the land, plants slowly regrow on Sift grass, and Soul Falls sometimes drop Soul Blocks from the Veil
A dawn chorus heals Sift creatures when the Thrive tide begins
Only Sift creatures are now immune to Ichor
๐ A New Rift
The Sift Rift has been rebuilt in the style of Minecraft Dungeons II: a large, wide, glowing orange tear with a swirling animated core, glowing edges and sparks
Rifts float just above the ground and face the direction you open them from
๐ช New Decorative Blocks
Willow Chair: right-click with an empty hand to sit
Siftite Lantern, Glowcap Chandelier and Tidestone Lamp
Rift Glass, Siftite Bars and Carved Sift Bricks
๐ Three Lore Books
The Sifter's Almanac: shows the current tide, your souls, the Soul Storm timer and the way back to your landing spot
Chronicle of the Veil: the history of the Sift, and it points toward the nearest Silent Meridian
Bestiary of the Sift: records every Sift creature you defeat
Found in Sifter ruins, Illager Soul Excavations and village chests, and sold by village librarians
๐บ๏ธ World Generation
Cave overhaul: giant caverns deep underground, and caves no longer cut through hills
Meadows (Wild Meadows and Singer's Meadow) are larger and much flatter
Humbler Huskland is much flatter
The two mountain biomes are now separated by hills, and Ichorfrost Peaks is rarer
Ichor snow now appears only on the highest peaks
The Silent Meridian is much smaller
Floating islands appear in many biomes across the Sift. Above the Silent Meridian they are made of Nebula Grass and Meridian Stone
Floating islands now float higher above mountains and no longer clip into them
Ichor Ponds no longer have crust frames around them, and islands in the ponds are more common
The horizon haze is softer and closer to the color of the sky
The three auroras drift across the sky both day and night
Siftite ore is more common, glows softly and has the correct purple color in stone and soil
๐ฆด Humbler Huskland
New bone structure: the Titan Skull, a giant half-buried skull with horns, fangs and glowing eyes
The number of bone structures now matches the size of the biome, and they no longer cluster in one place
Bone structures no longer overlap ruins, portals and excavations, and are no longer cut off at the biome edge
More bone pillars across the sand
โจ๏ธ Commands
A new `/sift` command for operators and command blocks:
`/sift souls get | set | add`
`/sift tide` and `/sift tide set`
`/sift storm active | seconds | start | stop`
`/sift enter` and `/sift leave`
`/sift waystone set | clear`
`/sift bestiary <player> | reset | complete`
`/sift surface` and `/sift village`
๐ New Advancements
Wanderer of the Sift: visit all sixteen biomes
The Silent Field: find the Silent Meridian
Cold Souls: descend into the Frozen Soul Caverns
Lucky Charms: collect all four charms
Sift Scholar: collect all three Sift books
Field Researcher and Master Bestiarist: fill your Bestiary
Storm Caller: call a Soul Storm with a Storm Lure
Soul Hoarder: fill a Soul Flask with 500 souls
โจ Other Changes
Controlify support
Operators in Spectator mode can now use the Sift's items and tools (Rift Key, portals, gadgets and more). Other spectators can no longer interact with them
Soul Storms now unlock at level 50
Fewer hostile creatures during the Flow tide
The creative tab is reorganized into neat rows by category and color, with enchanted books next to the Bestiary
The Bloom Empress now calls Burstpuffs to her side
