EverMoon Core is the heart of the EverMoon - Home & Harvest experience.
Created by kotoritos, it adds small, carefully designed systems that make Minecraft feel warmer, calmer and more connected without turning it into a completely different game.
EverMoon Core is not about huge progression trees, complicated currencies or endless grinding.
It is about making the things you already enjoy doing in Minecraft feel more meaningful:

Home Comfort is the main gameplay system of EverMoon Core.
Instead of using levels, XP bars or a visible comfort score, the system quietly checks whether the place you sleep actually feels like a real home.
A comfortable home is built around five categories:
By default, Rest is mandatory, together with enough elements from the other categories.
This means that simply placing a bed inside an empty box is not the intended experience.
A proper home can naturally include:
There is no comfort level to grind and no number you need to maximize.
You simply build and decorate a home naturally.
Sleeping in a comfortable home can reward you with the Well Rested effect.
Well Rested is a gentle benefit designed for peaceful downtime rather than combat.
It does not give powerful bonuses such as:
Instead, while you are safe, well fed and have not recently taken damage, Well Rested can slowly help you recover.
The idea is simple:
Explore → Return Home → Eat → Sleep → Recover → Explore Again
Your home becomes useful without replacing food, armor, potions or normal survival mechanics.
EverMoon Core was designed to connect different parts of the EverMoon - Home & Harvest ecosystem.

EverMoon does not simply treat every block from every installed mod as part of a comfortable home.
A temporary campsite should not automatically become equivalent to a permanent, decorated house.
Different mods keep their own identity while EverMoon helps them fit together naturally.
EverMoon Core is intentionally focused.
If another mod already provides a complete feature, EverMoon generally lets that mod remain responsible for it.

Home Comfort is not designed as a constant heavy scanner running around every player.
Checks happen only when they are relevant, such as after a completed sleep or through administrator diagnostics.
The system avoids intentionally loading or generating unloaded chunks just to calculate comfort.
This keeps the feature lightweight while still allowing detailed compatibility with the rest of the experience.
