Evergrowth Core is a collection of Bedrock parity features, quality-of-life improvements, and vanilla-friendly enhancements for Minecraft Java Edition. Designed as the foundation of the Evergrowth mod series, it improves building, redstone, world interactions, and gameplay consistency while staying true to the vanilla experience.

Mod Features (Introduced in 2.0)

Pistons can now push blocks that were previously immovable, including chests, barrels, furnaces, and much more.

Fully grown crops now grant a small amount of XP when harvested by hand.

A Silent Name Tag can be created by renaming a name tag to “Silent”, silencing mobs and hiding their nameplates; renaming it again restores normal behaviour.

Filled maps can be cleaned by right-clicking a cauldron with them.

Up to three different potions can be stored in a single cauldron, mixing them into one combined effect that can be bottled.

Dye can be stripped from items using a cauldron, transferring the dye into the water.

Cauldrons can be dyed, changing the water colour and allowing it to be applied to leather armour and supported items.

Players gain small XP from actions such as shearing sheep and milking cows.

Witch hut cauldrons can spawn with randomized potion effects:

25% Healing or Poison
15% Swiftness
10% Slowness, Weakness, Strength, or Water Breathing
5% Fire Resistance

Cobwebs can be crafted into 8 string.

Buttons placed on pistons will stay attached instead of breaking.

Redstone can be placed underwater without breaking.

Fire Aspect enchantments and enchanted books can ignite candles, campfires, and similar blocks.

A stack (or partial stack) of arrows can be used to fully consume a potion cauldron, applying effects to all arrows.

Tipped arrows create a short-lasting area effect when they hit the ground.

Loyalty tridents thrown into the void will return to the player.

Impaling deals increased damage to all mobs when they are in water or rain.

Cakes can now stack up to 64.

The Wither has increased health depending on difficulty:

Easy: 300HP
Normal: 450HP
Hard: 600HP
Hardcore: 800HP

Mod Features (Introduced in 1.0)

Armour stand's now have arms to give them items.

Shift right-clicking Armour stands now change its pose.

Improved block placement while bridging (place blocks forward without needing a face target).

Sugar cane can be bonemealed to grow faster.

Silk Touch allows collection of path blocks.

Shulker boxes can be dyed directly.

Bonemealing flowers can spread nearby flowers of the same type.

Walking over candles and campfires while on fire will light them.

Snowballs passing through fire become flaming snowballs that deal fire damage.

Levers can be placed on additional surfaces such as rods and similar blocks.

Dispensers can throw tridents and all throwable items in the direction they face.
