Fixes a major item-handling bug in CHEST item mode.
What was wrong (CHEST mode only, "itemMode = CHEST"):
- When you captured someone, a chest holding all of their gear was spawned right away at the spot they were taken. If that spot was near the cell, the prisoner could simply pop the chest open, re-arm, and fight their way out. That is fixed: no chest is placed while a prisoner is held, so there is nothing in or near the cell for them to loot.
- When you executed a prisoner nobody would ransom, NO chest of their belongings appeared in the cell. Their kit had already been dumped at the capture site on capture, so the execution had nothing to hand you. That is fixed: an executed prisoner's full kit is now stashed in a chest inside the cell for the warden.
How both item modes work now (unchanged for most of you, since VAPORIZE is the default):
- Capture always clears the prisoner's inventory. They hold nothing in the cell either way, and the kit is kept safe until they leave.
- VAPORIZE (default): the kit is handed straight back into their inventory when they are freed by escape or ransom.
- CHEST: the kit is never handed back. It drops in a chest at the CAPTURE SITE when they are freed (so a released player has to trek back to where they were ambushed to recover it), or in a chest inside the cell if they are executed. The chest is never spawned while they are held, so it can never be looted from the cell.
If you were running CHEST mode and want the simplest experience, VAPORIZE gives exactly that: nothing to retrieve, items returned on release, a loot chest in the cell on execution.
No config changes are required; existing prisons and prisoners carry over.
