ETHERION EXPANSION 3 — SNAPSHOT 2

Enchantment Changes

Expanded enchantment compatibility across Ethereal equipment, allowing players to further improve and customize their gear.

• Ethereal Armor

  • All Ethereal Armor can now receive compatible enchantments.

  • Players can now enhance their armor with additional defensive and utility enchantments.

• Ethereal Shields

  • All Ethereal Shields can now receive compatible enchantments.

  • Provides additional customization and durability improvements for defensive equipment.

• Ethereal Forging Hammer

  • Now supports the following enchantments:

    • Unbreaking

    • Mending

  • Allows players to extend the lifespan of their forging equipment through enchantments.

These changes bring Ethereal equipment into closer alignment with Minecraft's existing enchantment system while expanding equipment customization throughout Etherion.

Ethereal Machinery Changes

Expanded automation and redstone integration for the three primary Ethereal Machines introduced and updated during Snapshot 1.

Hopper Compatibility

The following machines now support hopper-based inventory interactions:

• Elemental Infuser (EI)

• Ethereal Charging Station (ECS)

• Ethereal Autohammer (EAH)

Hopper compatibility allows players to integrate Ethereal Machinery into automated item transportation systems, reducing the need for manual inventory management.

This establishes a foundation for more advanced machinery setups and automated production systems.

Redstone Comparator Compatibility

Added redstone comparator support to:

• Elemental Infuser

• Ethereal Charging Station

• Ethereal Autohammer

Redstone comparators can now interact with supported Ethereal Machinery, allowing players to incorporate machine inventory monitoring into their redstone systems.

This provides additional flexibility when designing automated machinery setups and redstone-controlled production lines.

Redstone Machine Control

The following machines can now be enabled or disabled using external redstone signals:

• Elemental Infuser

• Ethereal Charging Station

• Ethereal Autohammer

Players can now use Levers and Resonite Switches to control machine operation.

• Machines can be paused through redstone power.

• Removing the disabling signal allows machines to resume operation.

• Provides greater control over automated production and equipment processing.

These changes expand the functionality of Ethereal Machinery beyond individual workstations, allowing players to incorporate machines into larger redstone-powered automation systems.

Block Changes

• Added the Resonite Switch.

  • A new Etherion-themed alternative to the vanilla Lever.

  • Features a custom appearance designed around Etherion's technological and magical aesthetic.

  • Emits Etherion Blue particles when activated.

  • Features illuminated components when powered.

  • Functions as a standard redstone switch.

  • Can be used to control compatible Ethereal Machinery.

The Resonite Switch introduces an additional decorative and functional redstone component designed to complement Ethereal Machinery and future Etherion automation systems.

Item Changes

• Added Resonite Powder to the Ethereal Blasters Items creative inventory group.

  • Makes Resonite Powder easier to locate within the mod's creative inventory organization.

  • Improves accessibility when building and testing Resonite-powered machinery.

Advancement Changes

Added new advancements associated with Etherion Expansion 3 progression.

• Ethereal Autohammer

  • Added an advancement for obtaining the Ethereal Autohammer.

  • Recognizes player progression into automated Ethereal Machinery.

• Resonite Powder

  • Added an advancement for obtaining Resonite Powder.

  • Introduces an additional progression milestone associated with the Resonite Energy System.

These advancements help guide players through the new machinery and energy-related content introduced throughout Etherion Expansion 3.

Item & Block Classification Changes

Improved the organization and classification of Etherion's registered items and blocks.

Item Classification

• Updated item classifications to better reflect their intended purposes.

• Items previously categorized under Ingredients now display more appropriate item types.

• Improves consistency with Minecraft's existing item classification system.

Block Classification

• Updated block classifications to better reflect their intended purposes.

• Blocks previously categorized under Building Blocks now display more appropriate block types.

• Improves organizational consistency across Etherion's block collection.

These changes provide clearer identification of Etherion content and improve overall item and block organization.

Snapshot Highlights

Beta 0.6.1 — Etherion Expansion 3: Snapshot 2 focuses on expanding the functionality, automation capabilities, and overall integration of Etherion's existing content.

Building upon the Resonite Energy System and Ethereal Machinery introduced in Snapshot 1, this update adds hopper compatibility, redstone comparator support, and redstone-controlled machine operation to the Elemental Infuser, Ethereal Charging Station, and Ethereal Autohammer.

The introduction of the Resonite Switch provides a new Etherion-themed redstone component, allowing players to control their machinery while maintaining the mod's distinctive technological and magical aesthetic.
