Special Effects Hotfix 4
Ethereal Blasters 2 is now version [ALPHA] 0.3.4. This small update brings about a few changes regarding how blocks can be mined, harvested, or obtained. As well as some changes to Ore Generation, and even a few new blocks and a new Geode Structure!
- Minor Changes:
- Updated Corestone Block, and Ethereal Charging Station so they can now be mined and harvested as this was a missing feature from past updates.
- Corestone Block: Can now be harvested using an Iron Pickaxe.
- Ethereal Charging Station: Can now be harvested using a Stone Pickaxe.
- Quartzite Block Family now extended up to 6 blocks (4 new blocks added)!
- Quartzite Block Family has now been extended with 4 new custom blocks which include:
- Budding Quartz Block: This block behaves similar to Budding Amethyst where it will grow Amethyst Crystals. It also cannot be obtained either, even with silk touch, but is accessible through creative mode.
- Small, Medium, and Large Quartzite Buds: The first three stages of blocks that will now grow on a Budding Quartzite Block before the crystal becomes a Quartzite Cluster.
- Note: This now means there is a natural way of being able to obtain Quartzite Shards outside of using the Sonorous Shotblaster. Giving to a better and more renewable resource for obtaining Quartzite Shards!
- New Quartzite Geode Feature!
- Quartzite Geodes will now naturally spawn in the Overworld! These new features are similar to Amethyst Geodes, except instead they are filled with Quartzite themed blocks. On average, Quartzite Geodes are 10% rarer than Amethsyt Geodes, which is used to balance obtaining the Quartzite Shard item as easily. However, they are not impossible to find, and they often can be found between Y levels of -60 to 30.
- Note: Quartzite Shards may soon replace the Nether Quartz item in many of the Stentorian Recipes as there is now a natural way to obtain Quartzite Shards. This is undetermined yet though, and through popularity, it will determine whether that feature will be implemeneted.

- Updated Ore Generation: Ore Generation (For Corestone Ore Variants and Ethereal Debris) have been updated in a way that makes obtaining these ores more fair. This is because I realized how much Corestone and Ethereal Debris is acutally used throughout the mod.
