Special Effects Hotfix 3
Ethereal Blasters 2 is now version [ALPHA 0.3.3]! This small update brings about changes to how the secondary effects of Thunderstrike and The Vindicator work in ways that are still fun and more balanced!
- Thunderstrike Changes:
- Brand new Lightning Charging Mechanic: Thunderstrike now has a new "Charging" mechanic on how the lightning bolts are summoned. The Player must now hit a Living Entity/Living Entities 4 times to build up its "Static Charge." on the 4th hit, the player will notice that Thunderstrike gains an enchanted glow. Upon deilvering the fifth shot to an entity, a lightning bolt will be summoned and strike the current entity that got struck! This change was done to help balance how Thunderstrike dealt damage so now the weapon should not be as overpowered as it was in the past!
- The Vindicator Changes:
- Brand new Avenging Mechanic: The Vindicator uses the same charging system requiring 4 hits on living entities to help build up its charge. The Player will now notice that the Poison and Luck effects from before are not applied after each hit. It is only on the fifth hit now, that Poison gets inflicted upon the struck entity. On top of this, after the fifth strike, the Player will also get temporary luck, and strength, which could be useful when looting, or in close combat! All killed entities will still have a chance of dropping an emerald on death regardless of the amount of charge!
