ETHEREAL BLASTERS 2: ENGAGED AND REBORN
Changelog - Version [ALPHA] 0.3.2
Special Effects Hotfix 2
Ethereal Blasters 2 is now version [ALPHA] 0.3.2. This smaller update brings about a few changes to the Shotblaster Group, and adds a few new blocks, items and recipes!
- Shotblaster Upgrades: True Secondary Effects!
- Shotblasters now have true secondary effects added, both of which have similar but unique effects.
- Sonorous Shotblaster: The Sonorous Shotblaster now has a new secondary effect that when a living entity is hit, the "Stentorian Thorns" effect is applied to that living entity.
- Stentorian Thorns: Stentorian Thorns is a new negative effect that when a living entity obtains this effect takes damage in a similar style to Poison II. However, only half a point of damage is taken over a period of time that is roughly between 5 and 10 seconds long. On top of this, when the living entity is hit, it will also be trapped in a Crystal Spikes trap that applies slowness IV for roughly 5 seconds. If the entity either escapes, or the timer for the crystal trap reaches 0, the trap will explode dropping its new shards for 6 points of damage.
- Quartzite Blocks/Items: Quartzite is a new variant of quartz in EB2 that is directly spawned from shooting the Sonorous Shotblaster at a living entity.
- Quartzite Block: Similar to Amethyst, this new white block is the true block form of Quartzite. It sometimes spawns if the crystal trap spawns in air, and can also be crafted from 4 Quartzite Shards. Inversely, the Quartzite Block can also be used to obtain 4 Quartzite Shards.
- Quartzite Cluster: Quartzite Clusters are the result of the Stentorian Thorns crystal trap spawning, these blocks cannot be normally obtained through any normal means (as of now). However if they are broken by a pickaxe (Stone level or higher), they will drop between 1 and 2 Quartzite Shards.
- Quartzite Shards: Quartzite Shards are a new Item that is obtained from either Quartzite Blocks or Clusters, these new items can be used as an althernative repair material in the Ethereal Charging Station, making them useful without having to go to the Nether for more repair materials.
- Quartzite Blocks/Items: Quartzite is a new variant of quartz in EB2 that is directly spawned from shooting the Sonorous Shotblaster at a living entity.
- Resonant Shotblaster: The Resonant Shotblaster also has a secondary effect that is pretty much similar to the Sonorous Shotblaster, but the Resonant's secondary effect is slightly stronger in both its effect and damage.
- Resonant Thorns: Resonant Thorns is the stronger variant of Stentorian Thorns that again, acts similar to Poison II but does 1 point of damage (making it stronger). It also has a custom crystal trap, that uses Amethyst related blocks.
- Amethyst Block to Shards: While I will not go into detail of the crystal trap as it does exactly the same thing the Stentorian Thorns crystal trap does, I will add that a custom crafting recipe has been added that allows the player to obtain 4 Amethyst Shards from an Amethyst Block
- Resonant Thorns: Resonant Thorns is the stronger variant of Stentorian Thorns that again, acts similar to Poison II but does 1 point of damage (making it stronger). It also has a custom crystal trap, that uses Amethyst related blocks.
