The "SPECIAL EFFECTS" Update!
Ethereal Blasters 2 is now version [ALPHA] 0.3.0! This major update brings about changes to the Blasters themselves by adding secondary effects! These secondary effects are unique to each blaster and fit the blasters "element" theme to the best of its ability!
Major Changes to EB2:
- Secondary Effects:
- Thunderstrike: Thunderstrike now upon hitting an entity, will strike the entity with a lightning bolt, helping to deliver a massive blow to its health, and even setting the enemy ablaze sometimes! (The chances of being struck by a lightning bolt might be lowered in a future update to increase fairness or a tier system may be set in to determine when the entity is struck with lightning).
- The Vindicator: The Vindicator will now be able to apply a few different effects as its secondary effect. This includes applying Poision 1 to the hit entity for 5 seconds, applying Luck to the Player for 10 seconds, applying Looting 1 when the entity is killed for increased item drops, and there is a 40 percent chance that upon the entities death, it will drop an emerald.
- Sonorous/Resonant Shotblaster: As of now, the only new change to these two Blasters rather than a true secondary effect is how they now shoot. In previous versions of EB2, the shotblasters only shot a single hitscan bullet. Now both these Blasters will shoot a spray of hitscans similar to how an actual shotgun should behave! Secondary effects for these two blasters will come in a future update soon!
- Piglin Deadshot: The Piglin Deadshot now gains a few new abilities within its secondary effects. This includes adding the brand new Midas' Curse! This is a negative effect that, upon hitting an entity, will apply this effect for 10 seconds. This curse acts similar to how King Midas would accidentally seal people in solid gold! The entity's movement speed is significantly reduced to almost nothing, and the entity is incased in a solid yellow outline! There is also a 40 percent chance that upon thet Entity's death, it will drop a Gold Ingot!
- Golem's Fist: Golem's Fist now when striking an entity, will apply Weakness 1 to the Entity, and then Strength 1 to the Player helping to increase damage when in a challenging fight! There is a 40 percent chance that upon the Entity's death, it will drop an Iron Ingot!
- DMND-246: The DMND-246 now functions like an actual Rocket Launcher/RPG! When striking an Entity with the DMND-246, it will be launched several blocks into the air, from a powerful explosion upon contact! This can help take off heavy chunks of health for mobs with much larger health bars!
- RS-11 Pulsimeter: The RS-11 Pulsimeter has some of the most unique secondary effects off all, not only because they effect Entities but also some Redstone-related blocks! Starting of with the Entity impacts, upon striking one, the Entity will be given the Redstone Radiance effect, which gives a glowing effect to the entity, but the outline is red instead! It also, in rare circumstances that a creeper survives the blast of the RS-11 Pulsimeter, causes it to detonate upon impact releasing the Redstone Radiance as a lingering effect! On the Block side, The RS-11 Pulsimeter can turn on Redstone Lamps when firing at one. The lamp will stay on roughly for 60 to 75 seconds after being shot at. The other block the Blaster can affect, is the TNT block, which when fired at will ignite the tnt! This can be useful for certain wireless Redstone automation! (Note: Future Blocks may be added in a future update to create a WRP (Wireless Redstone Power) system!
Minor Fixes to EB2:
- Fixed a Bug where the Elemental Infuser and Ethereal Charging Station had cross parity causing the Elemental Infuser to not be able to function/open!
