ETHEREAL BLASTERS 2: ENGAGED AND REBORN
Changelog: Version [ALPHA] 0.2.0
"The ETHEREAL EXPANSION Update!"
Ethereal Blasters 2 is now version [ALPHA 0.2.0]! This next major update within the Alpha series helps to bring more continuity within the mod, making it, for the first time, playable in the most easy sense for Survival Mode!
Major Changes made in Ethereal Blasters 2 - ALPHA 0.2.0 include:
- Added Durability to the Blasters: While Blasters now have "durability" in the sense that the weapon now takes damage, the weapon can also not be destroyed through typical durability usage. This is to simulate the amount of Energy the Blaster has per each usage giving for that "Sci-Fi Lazer Gun feel"!
- Durability of Each Blaster:
- Piglin Deadshot: 400
- Golem's Fist: 450
- Sonorous Shotblaster: 500
- Resonant Shotblaster: 550
- The Vindicator: 600
- Thunderstrike: 650
- DMND-246: 750
- RS-11 Pulsimeter: 800
Note: Please mind, that these durability values are the current default for the mod and are subject to change as I see fit. This is based ultimately on feedback from users who play and use the mods features!
- Durability of Each Blaster:
- Added the Ethereal Charging Station and Blaster Repair Recipes: Since Blasters now have a durability/energy system when in use, there obviously needs to be a way to "recharge" (repair) your specific blaster. This is where the Ethereal Charging Station comes into play!
- Ethereal Charging Station: This new workbench block as previously stated, allows the user to be able to "recharge" the energy within their Blaster by placing the desired weapon of choice along with that Blaster's "element" in which it will repair 150 durability points back towards the user's weapon!
- For example: Piglin Deadshot is placed inside the Ethereal Charger on the top input, and a Gold Ingot (The Blaster's Element) in the bottom input. The charger like the infuser will power on for 100 ticks and then push out a Blaster with 150 more durabilty points than before at only cost of 1 Element of Choice!
- Crafting the ECS: To craft the Ethereal Charging Station, the Player simply uses a crafting table in how an Elemental Infuser is similarily crafted but with one major difference. 3 etherion nuggets, 4 smooth stone, 1 iron ingot, and 1 Redstone Block.
- Blasters now have Custom Colored Item Display Names: When viewing the Item's display name, each Blaster now has a unique color coded to its item name based on its "Element." For example, Thunderstrike now displays a "Copper Orange" color, and the Resonant Shotblaster displays an "Amethyst Purple" color.
- Added the Corestone Block, for Storage Functionality: While its unlikely that the player will need to gather large amount of Corestone at a time, the option to compact Corestones into a Block now exists! Just like any other compact block, the Corestone Block requires 9 Corestone in a crafting table to be able to obtain it!
- Added Custom Ore Generation (A Massive Milestone!): On the topic of Corestone, all 3 "Ores" now can naturally spawn within the overworld! This means that Corestone Ore, Deepslate Corestone Ore, and Ethereal Debris can now all be found in the caves of the overworld! While the Corestone Ore variants and Ethereal Debris are currently common to find throughout the world, a future update will tailor their likleyhood/rarity as currently this update is just pushing out how the ore generates and what to look for for Players using this mod for the first time. This also makes Ethereal Blasters 2 playable fully in Survival Mode without cheats for the first time!
- Updated Damage Tables: As promised in a previous update, the Blasters damage based on Blaster Type has now been fixed so that each Blaster has a much more fitting damage to what kind it is.
-
Blaster Damage Table:
- Piglin Deadshot: 6.5 points
- Golem's Fist: 7.0 points
- Sonorous Shotblaster: 10.0 points
- Resonant Shotblaster: 11.5 points
- The Vindicator: 12.5 points
- Thunderstrike: 13.0 points
- DMND-246: 15.0 points
- RS-11 Pulsimeter: 17.5 points
-
- Ethereal Charging Station: This new workbench block as previously stated, allows the user to be able to "recharge" the energy within their Blaster by placing the desired weapon of choice along with that Blaster's "element" in which it will repair 150 durability points back towards the user's weapon!
