EssentialCraft 4 Reborn

A port of EssentialCraft 4 Unofficial (Minecraft 1.12.2) to NeoForge 1.21.1 - a magic-technology mod built around MRU, a single magical energy that every machine draws on its own: no wires, only Bound Gems that link devices to their sources.

What's inside

• MRU system: generators with a purity balance (frozen / chaos), Bound Gems with range and cross-dimension linking, the MRUCU enrichment chamber, MRU Coil, Reactor, Charging Chamber.
• Machines: Magician Table, Radiating Chamber, Magmatic Smeltery, Mithriline Furnace, Magical Quarry, Repairer, Enchanter, Teleporter, Weather Controller, Monster Harvester, Inventory Manager (MIM) and more.
• Generators: Heat Generator, Natural Furnace, Moon Well, Ender Generator, Solar Prism, Cold Distillator, Ultra variants.
• Hoanna: a separate dimension with its own sky, biomes, random world events, radiation and ruined structures to explore.
• Combat and gear: MRU weapons (pistol, rifle, sniper, gatling), maces and swords, Wind, Void, Magic and Computer Guy armor, shields, amulets and charms (Curios), a Demon you can trade with, a Hologram boss.
• Decoration: fancy tiled blocks, Mimic blocks, crystal lamps, fortified glass.
• Book of Knowledge: a full in-game guide (English and Russian) with recipes and structure diagrams.
• JEI support with categories for the machines; Jade tooltips.

• Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.x
• Curios API (required)
• JEI and Jade are optional

Notes

• The mod must be installed on both client and server.
• This port tries to follow EC4 closely. A few EC4 features were intentionally left out (for example item-crafting automation blocks and animal separators); see the changelog on the page.
• Tested mostly in singleplayer so far. Multiplayer reports are welcome.

How this differs from the original

• Fully rewritten code for Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge (the originals targeted 1.7.10 and 1.12.2).
• Recipes, loot and tags moved to the 1.21.1 data-driven system; amulets and charms work through the Curios API.
• Updated textures and fixed 3D models in a modern style (the new textures are still being tested).
• A new in-game Book of Knowledge in Russian and English, JEI categories, Jade tooltips.
• Some of the original content was intentionally removed or not ported (see the changelog).
