Esotericism Tinker 1.3 Changelog
This update introduces the first stage of tool transcendence, expands the Transmutation Furnace’s entity-melting capabilities, and improves Transmutation Ruin generation.
Transcendence Anvil
Added the Transcendence Anvil, an advanced workstation dedicated to repairing and upgrading tools, as well as performing transcendence rituals. It cannot be used to craft new tools.
The Transcendence Anvil can be cast using either a Tinker’s Anvil or a Scorched Anvil as the cast, requiring 8,000 mB of Living Soul Blood. The original anvil is consumed during casting, while its material appearance is inherited by the resulting Transcendence Anvil.
Crown System
Added the Crown system. Tools may eventually attain four Crown stages, though only the first stage—the Crown of Illumination—is currently supported.
Crowns provide tools with two allocatable resources: Matrix and Elevation.
At the Transcendence Anvil, players may use Reception to allocate additional modifier slots, or perform an Investiture to inherit an innate trait belonging to another tool definition.
Investiture requires the source tool to be held in the offhand. Once the Investiture has been permanently finalized, it cannot be replaced.
Stigmata System
Added the Stigmata system, allowing tools to record the material traits of tool parts.
Stigmata are divided into three stages, though only the first stage—Manifestation—is currently supported.
Stigmata rituals must be performed at a Tinker’s Anvil.
Transmutation Furnace Improvements
The Transmutation Furnace now possesses its own enhanced entity-melting capabilities.
Standard Tinkers’ Construct entity-melting recipes now produce twice their normal fluid output when performed in a Transmutation Furnace. This multiplier can be adjusted through the configuration file.
Added special Byproduct Entity Melting recipes. These recipes can only be performed in a Transmutation Furnace and produce both a primary fluid and an additional byproduct fluid.
Added a dedicated JEI recipe category for Transmutation Furnace melting.
The Transmutation Furnace’s Foundry Mode now uses an independent ore-yield configuration. By default, each ore unit produces 24 nuggets of metal or 16 shards of gemstone.
Transmutation Ruins
Increased the average spacing between Transmutation Ruins from 40 chunks to 80 chunks, making them significantly rarer exploration targets.
Adjusted the occurrence weights of different ruin states, making damaged ruins more common. The levels of structural decay applied to intact, damaged, and ruined variants have also been rebalanced.
Fixed Transmutation Ruins using excessively large generation bounds. Their generation area is now determined by the structure’s actual dimensions, reducing interference with surrounding chunk generation while improving cross-chunk placement, entity restoration, and post-processing.
Transmutation Ruins in existing worlds that were saved with abnormally large bounds will also attempt to repair their boundaries when reloaded.
