Escher's Gambit

Welcome to the Escher's Gambit​ Mod!

This Mod is based on the Game of Chess but Figures can move on Walls!
The Figures are displayed using Items in Item Frames. When you click on an Item with the correct Rod you see where it can move and can click on the highlighted squares to automatically move it there!
For playing in Creative Mode it is strongly recommended to set the Gamerule "isChessSurvivalOptimized" to false.

Items:

This Mod adds Chess Pieces that can be played with! They come in 4 Colors and can be moved over Edges!

They can be moved using the "Colour" Rod of Moving and can be destroyed or Rotated using The Rod of Removal and Rod of Rotation!

Rules:

1. At their Turn a Player can move a Piece of their own Colour.

2. When the Opponents King is taken/checkmated by someone, that Player has lost.

3. The Rod of Rotation and Rod of Removal are banned during the Game.

Feel free to change the Rules as you like and maybe even come up with your own Boards :)
The Aim of this Mod is to provide a Sandbox that can be used in different ways.

Survival:

To get the "Chess Core"-Item to begin crafting your Chess Pieces you have to hit a Zombie that has exactly 1 HP.
