This mod adds balanced Esoteric school spells, along with matching orbs, runes, sorcerer armor sets, staves, and more.

The Esoteric Sorcerer of this school resides in the Origin Realm. They are friendly and offer many useful trades.
By completing the Esoteric Sorcerer's trial, you can obtain the mod's strongest accessory, the Rising Inolia Ring — an accessory comparable in power to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks' own Iron Crown.

Esoteric spells are divided into six branches: Spell, Spellblade, Familiar, Aura, Barrier, and Device.

Spells in the Spell branch generally take one or two seconds to cast, similar to mages in some MMORPGs who must stand still and chant before releasing their spells. You can bombard enemies with high-frequency spells such as Laser, unleash a long-chanting Finale for burst damage, or use other spells to charge the magic Cannon and blast your enemies to pieces.
The Spellblade branch focuses on melee combat. Some spells directly enhance the caster's melee attacks, causing them to deal bonus Esoteric damage on hit. Others release slash spells that launch sword waves and similar attacks to damage enemies.
The Familiar branch summons an untargetable black cat to assist you, but the cat only acts when you issue spell commands. At higher levels, the familiar can cast automatically and has a chance to copy spells cast by its master.
The Aura branch grants buffs centered on the caster to yourself and nearby allies, including but not limited to attack damage, attack speed, cast speed, and cooldown reduction.
The Barrier branch creates stationary zones that do not move with the caster, empowering allies inside them — for example, blocking damage or knocking enemies away.
The Device branch summons arcane devices to assist in combat, such as automatically launching magic missiles at enemies, or adding a follow-up attack after the caster deals damage.
The Esoteric Sorcerer can trade Ruined Books and other items that are difficult to renew in Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, as well as a special item that can increase your spellbook slots to 15.
The Rising Inolia Ring provides a huge amount of buffs, making it a true endgame accessory.
Additionally, the Rising Inolia Ring's model is compatible with the YSM mod and the Touhou Little Maid mod, and displays properly.
