Overview

This is a mod that adds new weapon types to Epic Fight, in a style similar to base EF's weapons -- meaning grounded, simple animations and easy-to-understand gameplay.

Currently, it only adds one weapon type: the Saber. More are planned to come in future updates (hence Movesets)...but don't expect them to come quickly. I'm lazy.
However, planned weapon types mostly consist of weapons that are frequently seen in mods but unsupported by EF, such as scythes, hammers, maces, and twinblades. Feel free to contact me on the Epic Fight Discord if you want to request a particular weapon type be added!

List of currently implemented weapon types

Saber:

The Saber is slightly heavier than the Sword, with reach similar to a Longsword. It, however, has the benefit of higher impact (meaning longer stuns) and max strikes (meaning you can fend off more enemies at once).
It is worth noting that the Saber's first M1 attack and dash attack have noticeably long windups. This makes it a bit slower than its attack speed lets on.
As for the innate skill, the Saber has Riposte. Riposte charges quickly, and when used, performs a short dodge backwards. Successfully dodging an attack with this will perform a counterattack that deals more damage than M1 attacks, and as with most innate skills, gains damage with Sweeping Edge levels.

The Saber can be crafted with the following pattern, substituting the proper materials for the tier:

The mod adds Sabers for every vanilla tool tier from wood to netherite. Of course, the Netherite Saber is crafted by smithing a Diamond Saber with a Netherite Ingot and Netherite Upgrade.
