Fixed
- Sprinting backwards or sideways while camera coupling is on. Better Lock On lets you sprint in any direction in Epic Fight's third-person camera, which only suits the decoupled camera: with coupling on, the character kept facing the camera and ran backwards / sideways while playing the forward-run animation. While coupled (and not locked on), sprinting now follows vanilla's forward-only rule.
- Double-tap W sprint: the sprint is no longer started or kept without forward input.
- Sprint key (Ctrl) sprint: vanilla starts this one without looking at the movement direction, so holding Ctrl with S / A / D used to switch the sprint back on every tick. The sprint is now also dropped right before the player moves.
- Lock-on and the decoupled camera are unaffected.
Added
- Config option
[coupling] vanillaSprintWhenCoupled(defaulttrue) to turn the sprint change above off. - Config option
[debug] logFacing(defaultfalse): writes one[efshoulder][face]line to latest.log whenever the character's facing (camera / movement direction) or sprint state changes while moving. Read-only diagnostic, only useful for bug reports.
Changed
- Less work per frame: the camera collision check is reused while the camera is standing still, the glide to a new offset stops calculating once it has settled, and the config values read every frame or tick are cached instead of looked up each time. Camera behavior is unchanged.
