What's new

Enhanced Raid Dens 2.0.5-4

Changes since the last public release, 2.0.5-1. This update includes the previously unpublished 2.0.5-2 and 2.0.5-3 fixes.

Item Metadata Protection

  • Fixed raid-item checks removing an item's minecraft:custom_data component. Unrelated items can now be checked without losing their custom metadata.
  • Fixed Designer readers consuming owner, raid category, player-limit and cooldown data while reading it.
  • Fixed the World Boss Spot area-name reader removing the item's custom name.
  • Preserved normal item consumption, intentional metadata writes, ownership and cooldown rules.

Previously lost item data is not automatically reconstructed. This update prevents the destructive reads; it does not restore older inventories.

Guided Raid Spawning

  • Replaced inconsistent raid-invocation commands with one lowercase syntax:

    /erd raid spawn <family> <tier> <pokemon|random>

  • Added progressive suggestions for available ERD families, tiers, Pokémon and forms, with consistent family/tier/form tooltips and confirmations.

  • Added near <player> and at <x> <y> <z> destinations. Without a destination, a player spawns the raid nearby; the console must specify a destination.

  • Exact coordinates use the command context's dimension and support execute in. Invalid or unloaded locations fail without silently choosing another position.

  • Added clear form aliases, including charizard_x, charizard_y, absol_z, floette_eternal and urshifu_rapid_strike.

  • Restricted the catalogue and random selection to the requested ERD family and tier. Native Raid Dens definitions and technical resource IDs are not exposed through this command.

  • Added diagnostics for conflicting aliases; ambiguous definitions are not selected arbitrarily.

  • Created encounters continue to use tracked ERD crystals and their existing persistence and cleanup rules.

/erd raid spawn alpha 5 absol
/erd raid spawn mini 8 lucario
/erd raid spawn mega 6 charizard_x
/erd raid spawn mega 5 floette_eternal
/erd raid spawn mini 8 random near PlayerName
/erd raid spawn normal 4 charizard at ~ ~ ~

Related families still require their optional integrations and available raid definitions.

Operator Access to Disabled Tiers

  • Allowed OP level 2 administrators to spawn raids from a disabled tier without re-enabling that tier in configuration.
  • Retained family availability, optional dependency requirements, individual raid exclusions and placement/storage safeguards.
  • Kept normal tier restrictions for invocation items, the Designer and automatic spawning.
  • Marked disabled tiers in command suggestions so administrative bypasses are visible.

Breaking Command Changes

  • Removed /erd spawnrandom and /erd raid SpawnRandom, without compatibility aliases.
  • Removed the imported /erd dens and /erd spawnboss branches. Native /crd commands remain unchanged.
  • Update command blocks, scripts and administrator instructions to the new syntax.

Example replacement:

Old: /erd spawnrandom Mini 8 PlayerName
New: /erd raid spawn mini 8 random near PlayerName

Compatibility and Updating

  • Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric, Java 21. No NeoForge or Forge build is included.
  • No new dependency, item registry, network protocol or persistent-data migration is introduced relative to 2.0.5-1.
  • SGUI 1.6.1+1.21.1 remains bundled; no separate SGUI download is required.
  • Retained the 2.0.5-1 crystal-restoration and Eternal Flower Floette reward fixes, Mini raids and existing optional integrations.
  • Back up the world and configuration, stop the server, replace the old ERD JAR and restart. Use only one ERD JAR per installation.
  • Matching client/server versions are recommended. Existing 2.0.5-1 clients do not need new registered content, but updating them provides the new translations and avoids mixed-version uncertainty.

Validation Status

The candidate passed 330 regression tests and 8 native component tests per build, with two byte-identical builds. The bundled 3,351-definition command catalogue was audited. The new command-spawning workflow has not undergone final in-game acceptance in this preparation. Offline checks are not a claim of complete live or crash-recovery qualification.
