\*\*Welcome to the first Enhanced Minecraft project: Enhanced ArmOrey!\*\*
this is an Mcreator mod. I do not own any other licensing so feel free to port this mod to other versions, as i wont be doing this myself.
This mod provides you with a selection of unique ores, which can be used for vanilla+ style armor and tools!
Currently this mod contains 5 new ores, each with its own unique generation, equipment and well-made vanilla designs:
Sapphire:
Sapphire is a unique gemstone, rarely found in the end dimension. Sapphire equipment has stats mostly superior to netherite, but lower durability than diamond and enchantability equal to diamond. It was made and designed to go alongside ruby from betternether and emerald, which is why it generates in the end. Sapphire ore and blocks are quite tough, requiring netherite equipment to be obtained. Sapphire equipment can be crafted the same way most equipment can.
Platinum:
Platinum is a strong and somewhat uncommon metal, found exclusively in the nether dimension. It is superior to iron in every way, but still below diamond. Even though it looks similar to gold, piglins do not care for it and will still attack you, no matter what. Platinum ore and blocks are of similar hardness to diamond, requiring at least iron to be obtained, but are broken faster with the right equipment and completely resistant to fire and lava. Just like similar materials, it has a regular crafting recipe.
Bismuth:
Bismuth is a somewhat fragile, strange metal, found exclusively in the nether's basalt and blackstone, just as often as nether quartz. It is more fragile than iron, with slightly lower stats, but higher than copper and stone equipment. Apart from seeming almost meaningless due to iron's superiority, it has a strange, cold touch, often affecting things around it. The sword and armor can freeze opponents, while the tools can sometimes preserve loot of broken blocks. This results in double or even triple the loot. Credits go to Bismuth & Souls.
Spectralite:
Spectralite is a unique, fantasy metal, only generating in soul sand and soul soil. It is slightly rarer than both bismuth and nether quartz in its environment, but more common than platinum. It's raw form, unlike most metallic elements, is a very soft dust. When smelted however, it turns into an extremely durable thin metal, with a strong connection to the spectral plane, due to it consisting of souls. Because of this, it has remarkable durability, being on par with even diamond, enchantability above that of netherite, mining strength of that of iron, but somewhat dissapointing stats, being even below copper. That however is quickly overshadowed by its remarkable ability to affect anything it touches on both physical and spectral planes, piercing armor and harvesting souls from blocks. The souls also protect armor wearers from any projectile.
Shattered Void:
Fragments of the void itself sometimes corrupt the bottom of the end dimension, shattering some blocks and leaving behind crystallized void. This absurdly rare and durable material appears to be too unstable for regular equipment. However, combining it with popped chorus, allows one to wield it in the form of a trident. This alone already is an absurdly powerful weapon, boasting most of the trident's properties, a whopping 4096 durability, alongside 2 more damage in all forms. However, enchanting it results in strange, powerful enhancements unique from any weapon imaginable.
Channeling allows it to harness the dragon's breath, creating clouds of voidic acid whenever it hits an enemy.
Riptide allows the user to wrap themselves in void when close to it, launching them as if they were submerged.
Impaling shatters the opponents life force, withering them away.
The crystal can also be used for brewing. When combined with a mundane potion, a potion of void resistance can be created, granting complete immunity to void damage, for... whatever use you'd need.
Upcoming content:
A few other ores are already planned to be added in future updates, for which development will start very soon. Most of these will be a bit more unique than the current ores present within the mod, having more features, custom effects and more uses, aside from the basic equipment. currently planned ores include:
Topaz:
One of the 5 valuable gemstones. It only generates in dry biomes in the overworld, slightly rarer than iron. Equipment has a slight buff in speed-based stats compared to iron, but lower enchantability. It can be crushed into blaze powder.
Aquamarine:
One of the 5 valuable gemstones. It only generates in ocean biomes in the overworld, slightly rarer than iron. Equipment has a slight buff in durability compared to iron, but lower enchantability. It can be used to craft Prismarine.
Peridot:
One of the 5 valuable gemstones. It only generates in forest biomes in the overworld, slightly rarer than iron. Equipment has a slight buff in basic stats compared to iron, but lower enchantability. It is also related to the luck effect.
Garnet:
One of the 5 valuable gemstones. It only generates in sparse nether biomes, slightly rarer than nether quartz. Equipment has a slight buff in roughness compared to iron, but lower enchantability. It can be used to crack obsidian.
Morganite:
One of the 5 valuable gemstones. It only generates in cold biomes in the overworld, slightly rarer than iron. Equipment has a slight buff in movability compared to iron, but lower enchantability. It seems to contain small amounts of dragon essence.
Pink Diamond:
A rare drop from diamond ore with unique uses.
Dreamsteel:
A unique but fragile alloy with magical properties. The "netherite" of this mod.
Opal:
A unique gem found in the small end islands biome. Can be thrown or used for unique equipment.
Feel free to recommend any features or balances. I am still inexperienced with mod creation and will try to keep this mod as compatible as possible.
