Ever wanted to spawn specific versions of the Wither Storm from Engender without having to wait for it to grow?
This Forge 1.12.2 addon adds custom spawn eggs and commands that let you instantly summon the Engender Wither Storm at several different growth stages.
SPAWN EGGS
• Destroyer — 12,500 Growth • Destroyer — 25,000 Growth • Destroyer — 50,000 Growth • Devourer — 100,000 Growth • Devourer — 250,000 Growth • ThunderStorm — 300,000 Growth
COMMANDS
The mod also adds /engenderstorm summon commands, allowing you to summon specific Wither Storm growth stages without using the spawn eggs.
WHY DID I MAKE THIS?
Engender's Wither Storm doesn't use the numbered Phase 0, Phase 1, Phase 2, etc. system found in some other Wither Storm mods.
Instead, Engender's Wither Storm continuously grows and changes based on its growth value.
I wanted an easy way to spawn different sizes and stages of the Engender Wither Storm without having to manually grow one every time, so I made spawn eggs and commands for several useful growth values.
This is useful for:
• Creative mode • Testing • Wither Storm battles • Maps • Showcases • Experimenting with Engender • Seeing the different Wither Storm stages quickly
REQUIREMENTS
• Minecraft 1.12.2 • Minecraft Forge 14.23.5.2859 • Engender Mod 1.12.2 0.7-pre1 • Any dependencies required by Engender
IMPORTANT
This mod does NOT add a completely new Wither Storm.
The spawn eggs and commands summon the actual Wither Storm from Engender and set it to the selected growth value.
FAQ
Q: Does this work with Cracker's Wither Storm Mod?
A: No. This addon is specifically made for the Engender Mod.
Q: Why aren't there Phase 0, Phase 1, Phase 2, etc. spawn eggs?
A: Engender doesn't use the same numbered phase system. Its Wither Storm changes based on its growth value, so this mod uses different growth presets instead.
Q: Why is 250,000 Growth still called Devourer?
A: Because Engender's ThunderStorm stage begins above 250,000 Growth. The 300,000 Growth egg is therefore used for ThunderStorm.
Q: Can I use commands instead of the spawn eggs?
A: Yes! The mod includes custom /engenderstorm summon commands for the different growth stages.
Q: Will you add more growth stages?
A: Possibly! If I find more interesting or useful Engender Wither Storm growth values, I may add more spawn eggs in a future update.
Q: Does this work without Engender installed?
A: No. This is an addon for Engender and uses Engender's actual Wither Storm.
Q: Will you port this to newer Minecraft versions?
A: Only if the Engender version this addon depends on can support it. This project was specifically created for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Q: Will there be a Fabric or NeoForge version?
A: No. This addon is made for Forge 1.12.2 because that is what this version of Engender uses.
Q: Can I use this in a modpack?
A: Yes! Just make sure the correct version of Engender and all of its required dependencies are installed.
