Description
ENEND - Friends Among Enemies
Not every monster wants to be your enemy.
Among the countless hostile creatures of Minecraft, a select few will respond to your kindness and become your allies. We call them "Enends."
They will travel alongside you, fight by your side, trade valuable items, and sometimes surprise you with abilities you never expected. Even the most terrifying monsters might just become your greatest companions.
Meet Your New Friends!
-
Creeper — A Dangerous but Loyal Companion
Who would have thought a Creeper could become your friend? Offer TNT to a Creeper, and with a little luck, it will start following you!
Be careful, though—Creepers are still Creepers, and they may sacrifice themselves in an explosion when fighting enemies. However, keeping your Creeper supplied with extra TNT changes everything: instead of blowing itself up, it will hurl TNT at enemies from a safe distance! Keep its inventory stocked, and your explosive friend will stay by your side much longer.
-
Zombie — Strength in Numbers
Zombies aren't particularly strong on their own, but they have one major advantage: sheer numbers. Offer raw meat to a Zombie for a high chance of befriending it, then equip your recruits with weapons and armor to build your very own undead army!
Keep in mind that every time a Zombie takes damage, its maximum health permanently decreases and cannot be recovered. They also grow weaker during the day—even underground. A single Zombie may be fragile, but an entire horde is another story.
-
Skeleton — Your Versatile Marksman
Skeletons are much harder to win over than Zombies, but their ranged support makes them invaluable allies. Offer arrows to earn their trust.
Once befriended, Skeletons will cover you from afar with their bows—and you can even hand them tipped arrows to add status effects to their shots! Prefer close-quarters combat? Hand your Skeleton a sword, and it will gladly swap its bow for melee combat.
-
Pillager — An Unexpected Truce
Not every enemy needs to become your soldier; sometimes, making peace is far more valuable than winning a battle. By offering food, arrows, or a crossbow to a Pillager, you can convince it to form a temporary alliance.
Better yet, as long as a friendly Pillager is nearby, other Illagers may agree to a truce as well—allowing you to trade with Vindicators, Witches, and even Evokers! They offer unusual items, powerful gear, mysterious potions, and rare treasures. Just remember: this is a fragile peace. Attack even one of them, and the entire alliance will turn against you instantly!
Command Your Companions!
Giving orders requires no complicated menus—just Minecraft's familiar interactions. Right-click your companion with an empty hand to cycle through three behavior modes:
-
Follow: Your companion follows your lead and fights alongside you. If it falls too far behind, it will hurry back to your side.
-
Stay: Your companion holds its position, letting you leave it safely behind.
-
Patrol: Your companion wanders the surrounding area and automatically engages nearby threats—perfect for guarding your base!
Rally Your Army with Goat Horns!
Leading a large group? You can also use Goat Horns to issue commands to all nearby companions at once:
-
Seek Goat Horn: Commands each companion to immediately attack the nearest enemy.
-
Ponder Goat Horn: Orders all companions to Follow you.
-
Sing Goat Horn: Orders all companions to Stay in place.
-
Feel Goat Horn: Orders all companions to Patrol the surrounding area and hunt for enemies.
Note: Certain monsters have unique interactions. For example, friendly Pillagers can either follow you or be dismissed—simply right-click to trade with them, or sneak + right-click with an empty hand to change their orders.
