There are two known ways to enter the Backrooms through the phenomenon known as NoClip: accidentally passing through a solid surface or being transported spontaneously and for no apparent reason.

Level 0 is the most common entry point. It consists of a vast labyrinth of yellow office rooms arranged in a seemingly random pattern. The walls are covered with yellowed wallpaper, the floor with a damp carpet, and the ceiling with fluorescent panels that emit a constant hum.

The monotony of the environment is one of its greatest dangers. No matter how far you walk or which direction you take, the rooms seem to repeat themselves over and over again without a recognizable pattern. Over time, the isolation and the noise from the lights can lead to disorientation, exhaustion, and even hallucinations.

Some areas of the level are completely devoid of the hum of the fluorescent lights. However, these areas are usually shrouded in near-total darkness, making navigation extremely difficult and heightening the sense of vulnerability.

Resources are extremely scarce, and there is no guaranteed known exit. If you’ve made it this far, stay calm, conserve your energy, and prepare for a long exploration.

Good luck.
