You've got a phone now.

Pull it out mid-cave, text your mate, and find out he's on a completely different server. Doesn't matter. The message still lands.

It's an actual phone

Not a menu with a phone skin. A home screen, apps, notifications that buzz while you're doing something else, wallpapers, themes — the lot.

Text people. Start a group chat. Ring someone and actually talk to them, face cam and all, while you're both mining. Take a photo of the base you just finished and post it where everyone can see it. Put the radio on.

And when you're bored waiting for the nether portal to charge, there's Snake.

The item panel you were going to install anyway

Open any container and it's there on the right. Every item in the pack, searchable — or don't search at all and just browse by category, which is what you actually want when a mod adds two hundred things you've never heard of and you don't know what any of them are called.

Hover anything, anywhere, and hit R to see how it's made or U to see what it's for. Click an ingredient to jump to its recipe. Click again to fill the crafting grid. Shift to make a stack.

It knows every station your pack adds, not just the vanilla ones. And it works on servers — the recipes are baked in, so there's no datapack to beg an admin for.

A map that knows people

Minimap in the corner, full map when you want it. It saves what you've explored, remembers your waypoints, and drops one automatically where you died so you can go and get your stuff.

Tap anywhere on the map to mark it. That ore vein across the ravine you can't reach yet, the village on the far shore — pin it without walking there first.

Then send the pin to a friend. Type their name or pick them off your list, and it arrives in their messages ready to drop straight onto their map. "Meet me here" actually means something now.

Point and shoot

There's a real camera in here. Framing guides, filters, exposure, a timer. Stick the phone on a tripod, walk into shot, and take a photo of you and everyone else instead of the usual arm's-length selfie. Record video too.

Everything lands in your photos, ready to post or send.

Nobody has to install anything

This is the bit that matters: EnderPhone is client-side. You install it, your friends install it, and that's it. No server plugin, no admin to convince, no permissions. Join any server you like — vanilla, modded, someone's whitelisted SMP — and it just works.

Don't want the minimap? Off. Don't want the item panel? Off. Don't want any of it on screen? Off. It's your phone.

Getting it

Drop the jar in your mods folder. Here's exactly what else you need:

That's it — no Fabric API needed on NeoForge, and nothing else to hunt down on either.

The browser add-on (optional)

One extra jar, alongside EnderPhone. Everything it needs is already inside it, so there's nothing else to install — it pulls down its browser engine on first launch, which takes a minute and only happens once.

Nothing goes on the server. Not for any of it.

And you don't need anyone on your server to have it. Texting, voice and video calls, photos, the feed — all of it reaches anyone with the mod, wherever they happen to be playing. Ring someone on a different server entirely and talk to them while you both get on with your own thing. Being the only one on your server costs you nothing.

Proximity chat is on the way — hear people as you walk up to them, lose them as you walk off. That's the one part that'll want you in the same world, for obvious reasons. It isn't in this build yet, so don't install it for that today.
