Encoded Logistics
Your base on the mainframe: storage networks and automation, with server racks, servers and an interactive operating system, all run from a terminal.
Encoded Logistics turns your item storage into a retro datacenter. Run cables from a Network Controller, fill Drive Bays with storage drives, and access everything from one network. You can keep it simple or build a full server room.
Features
- Storage networks: Network Controllers, Drive Bays, and 8K to 2M Storage Drives
- Cabling with lanes: Network, Dense and Fiber cables in every dye colour, with a lane limit for each cable type
- Server racks: 42U racks with working doors, filled with rack devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, UPSs, NAS and SAN storage, and tape libraries
- Terminal OS: a green-screen terminal with a text editor and ELCL, a scripting language for controlling your network
- Autocrafting: start with an early Midrange System and work up to full rack-scale scheduling
- Big-iron progression: Midrange Systems, Terminal Desks and a mainframe for the endgame
Your way
Every feature works either way: just Network Controllers and Drive Bays, or fully modular with server racks.
