Add-on for Veinminer: only pickaxes with the new Veinminer enchantment break the whole vein. Find it at the enchanting table, from librarians or in loot.

What a Veinminer pickaxe does: Veinminer's chain animation in game. Mine one iron ore and the vein breaks block by block, each block throwing its loot out in front of you.
A 34-block coal vein broken with Veinminer: the chain speeds up as it spreads, and the coal and XP land in a pile in front of the wall.
