⚠️ This is NOT the official EMI. EMI is created by Emi (emilyploszaj). This project is an unofficial, modified fork maintained by the GregTech Odyssey team; it is not made, endorsed or supported by the EMI author.

EMI GTO Edition
A build of EMI (Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge only) maintained specifically for the GregTech Odyssey modpack, based on EMI 1.1.24+1.20.1. It keeps the mod ID emi and the dev.emi.emi API, so existing EMI plugins and emi.json data keep working.
Main differences from the official EMI:
- Bundles EMI Trades (mod ID
emitrades): villager and wandering trader trades as an EMI category. Do not install the standalone EMI Trades alongside it. - The search index is built in the background after reloading, with a progress hint at the bottom of the screen; it is rebuilt automatically when the language or resource packs change.
- "Uses" of buckets and other fluid containers also list recipes that take the contained fluid.
- The workstation area wraps into multiple columns when a category has many workstations.
- Fluid amounts are always shown in millibuckets; error messages and loading texts are translatable, with a complete Simplified Chinese translation.
- Generic hooks for modpack integration (custom amount rendering, fluid-wrapping items, favorites callbacks). The Applied Energistics 2 GTO Edition uses them; EMI itself does not depend on any GregTech Odyssey mod.
The full list of differences is in GTO_CHANGES.md.
Cannot be installed together with the official EMI. Unless you are playing GregTech Odyssey or have a specific reason to use this version, you probably want the official EMI instead.
Requires Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, Java 21 and Lean Object.
